Usually pretty good.... but the other day I received what I'm pretty sure was probably food that someone else ordered/ never picked up and that had been sitting in the fridge. It was one of those days where after going to 5 local businesses because you forgot one ingredient for your planned dinner. Still not finding what you needed. I spent $13 on a dinner there that just ended up in the garbage out of frustration. The rest of the food with my order was hot and good as usual. But the fact that I was there within 12minutes of ordering.... And told "perfect timing"," I just bagged your order". Not much point in driving back and pissing people off with a redo order. Otherwise, I recommend.

Update... just went there... ordered salads, hamburgers, soup... Had to go back 2x to get my full order. Found out on last trip that I was at charged or given the lemon rice soup.... said they would just give it to me (5$tip already given and 2nd time back... okay?) The soup or BROTH GIVEN had no rice or chicken in it) I know they work their butt's off... I tell my 13 yr old to go there and tip good because I know how hard they work. But don't make me come back 2x and screw it up... across the board. I make my husband place the order usually. ... h They always get his right. Seriously, I don't know what the issue is.. Check what you get... down to opening the soup up. Because the Lemon rice soup had nothing but the broth. I'll see if I can add video or pics... probably not. Lesson... don't bother recognizing their hard work... becuz they don't...

We visit my parents-in-law in Valpo on a regular basis. Every time we head back home, we decide to stop here. Then I always pass the turn and don't feel like turning back around. This time, though, I was craving a greasy burger, so I turned back around anyway. I didn't get a greasy burger, but I was pleased nonetheless.

My husband and I were first impressed with the menu, in regards to both variety and creativity of the items. We wanted to get the fried pickles and a burger, but then we saw they had a fried pickle burger. Now the meat itself was not necessarily the best burger I'd ever had, but the assembled burger itself definitely was. The fried pickles looked to have been hand-breaded, rather than hand-dumped-from-a-bag. My husband felt it could have used more cheese, but I thought it was fine.

The only reason I give four stars is because the fries could be summed up in one sound, "meh." However, I've not found many fast food (or fast-ish, but fresher food in this case) places that have fries which rock my world.

Service-wise, my husband felt the order-taker was a bit grumpy. I did not go in with him to place the order. On the other hand, our 8-piece chicken nugget meal was only 6-piece. Since my kids were sharing it, we went ahead and mentioned it. They dropped fresh nuggets for us and gave us a double order, I'm assuming as apology. This went above and beyond what we expected. It was for our 4 and 2-year-old. I'd have been okay with them just tossing on two more.

We are looking forward to coming back next time...

I had the Gyro here. Now, I have to say, I'm very picky about my Gyros, taste, look, amount of meat and toppings and overall appearance. I ordered the meal with fries. I'm also picky about my fries. They need to be hot and crispy and not over salted when they get to me. That's the perfect fry!

When I received my order, I was pleasantly surprised by how much meat and toppings we're on this beast of a sandwich and the fries were a nice golden color, we're not over salted and definitely were crispy! The sandwich itself came with just the right amount of meat , the tomatoes were juicy and good size, the onoins were definitely fresh and the Cucumber sauce was tasty as well. The meat itself was not over cooked or dry, and is some of the best Gyro meat I've had in awhile. Overall, a great meal for the price! My wife ordered their Deep Fried Pickle burger and honestly, when I first heard what was on this thing, I was kinda turned off just by what I heard. But...I did get to taste this monstrosity and I must say, I have a new favorite specialty burger! It's freakin' huge! Better than anything I've had at either Red Robin or Burgerhaus! You must stop in here and if nothing else, try that burger! I guarantee you will not be disappointed! Friendly staff also makes this one of my family's...
