THE LUNCH BOX — Restaurant in Hegins Township

The Lunch Box is a cute little sub shop attached to the auto garage. The girls that work there are always very friendly, and usually pay very close attention to make sure your order is made correctly. Especially when allergies are involved. My kids love walking up there and being able to order their subs by themselves. They have a wise variety of cold subs,hot subs, and even a few salads. My favorite is chicken bacon ranch sub, on a soft roll. Its Sooo good! Ive had their salads as well. And they never disappoint. Their prices are very reasonable, and they also have things like chips, beef jerky, tasty cakes, tea, and soda. Perfect for a quick stop, grab a fresh made sub, and go. I stopped by this gas station restaurant on a whim and boy am I glad I did! I ordered the Italian hoggie and let me tell you, it was a hog-heaven. The sandwich was piled high with salami, pepperoni, and all the fixings. The fries were crispy and perfectly salted, and the coffee was hot and strong - just the way I like it.

But the real star of the show was the service. The cashier was polite and very friendly.

All in all, this gas station restaurant gets 5 stars for their delicious food, great service, and top-notch facilities. I'll definitely be back for another hoggie and some gas....
