We ordered the broiled Snapper Patrick (lump crabmeat served with cream sauce, roasted potatoes & grilled asparagus), and I tried the blackened red snapper topped with crabmeat etouffee and a stuffed potato which was on the menu they handed us. He loved his Snapper Patrick and all the sides. The 3 stars is because the blackened red snapper was ok, a little bland because the so called crabmeat etouffee that was served as the topping was NOT crabmeat and was NOT etouffee. It was in a small dish and looked like stringy chicken in a red "OVER TART" tomato sauce with this ODD taste, could not even figure out what the stuff in it was. It was not at all similar to the taste of crabmeat. And, isn't etouffee supposed to be a light roux type of sauce, etouffee meaning smothered? I'm from So. Louisiana and know what etouffee is supposed to taste like, I can also cook it very well. A Sauce Picante is usually with a light tomato sauce with pepper seasonings. This was definitely not that either. It was something between Italian pasta sauce and who knows what. It was not good at all, actually ruined the taste of the snapper when I first tried it together. I wonder if the chef just messed up my order or he/she was trying to invent something new??? Don't try it if you are expecting REAL SOUTHERN LOUISIANA ETOUFFEE topped on your blackened red snapper. The menu has: choice of topped with shrimp, crawfish, or crabmeat etouffee. You decide :) We didn't have drinks, just water that tasted good. It's a little over-priced for bland food and what you get compared to other seafood restaurants. I don't think it was worth $72 with the tip. It took a little long to get our order also. In comparison to other restaurants I've been when the tables are full, Pat's service was slow. There were not that many tables with guests either, possibly 5 or 6 tables, maybe 20 guests, on a Monday evening around 6:30 PM. The waitress was very nice and attentive, I figured because they were not busy at all, I give her 5 stars. The food is NOT the same as it was a few years ago. It's very low...

If it's not spicy I don't like it. Tried the boulettes for an appetizer. They were pretty good & well seasoned. Just a bit on the pricey side. Basically $18 for 8 balls. Had the seafood gumbo with okra it was okay. Didn't get to try the hushpuppies. They were out. Disappointed about that. It was only around 8p.m. I selected the half fish & half shrimp for an entree. The fish was REALLY spicy. Never had spicy fish before. But it still was good. Shrimp was good as well. No fancy flavor but were good. The platter came with seafood jambalaya . I wasn't too pleased with it. It was bland & lacked flavor but definitely had a punch. Which sucks! Had it had flavor to go along with the kick it probably would've been great. They only give you a tiny scoop. Appeared smaller than a standard ice-cream scoop. Mine didn't have any meat in it. My husband's had a couple of shrimp & a crawfish tail. Yes, I said "a". He ordered some kind of platter. May have been fish platter. Came with fish, oysters, stuffed crab, stuffed shrimp & a fish patty. He said the oysters were VERY good. Agreed that the fish was super spicy. He stated the stuffed crab & shrimp were okay. He didn't like the jambalaya a either. Also, he didn't care for the fish patty.
Overall, it was a decent experience. Our drinks never went empty. The were staff members other than our server who ensured that our water glasses never went empty. Our server was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOverall it was a good experience. Started with crawfish boulettes and crawfish bisque. The boulettes were exceptional, 10/10. The bisque was admittedly the low point. Weak and watery with not much flavor but it did contain a lot of crawfish. I had the seafood platter and it was for the most part great. The jambalaya and the seafood gumbo were definitely lacking.Girlfriend had a stuffed shrimp and fried shrimp platter and absolutely loved it. My mother had the snapper Anna special. The flavor was really good but in my opinion it wasn't visually appetizing, kind of a mess on the plate. Service was very friendly which was nice. Couple of issues such as I was missing my frog leg from the platter, girlfriend requested a stuffed potato instead of fries which she didn't get and we got the wrong drinks to our table. It was a little pricey, 3 entrees and two appetizers were 140ish. Absolutely did not enjoy the bisque at all but it was not taken off the bill. Only other thing I could say is that it would be nice to have better plateware for those expensive entrees. My huge seafood platter was piled onto a 10 inch round dinner plate. Though it tasted great it cheapened the experience. Despite the negatives we still enjoyed it. With the right cooks and management in place this restaurant would...
