Great little spot for authentic Mexican/ Hispanic food cooked fresh while you wait. It takes about 5-7 minutes. Menu items are clearly posted and described with pictures and in English. They'll cook and prepare it exactly as you order it, with it without whatever toppings/ fillings you prefer. There is a lot of variety. Tortillas are handmade. You'll need to ask for sour cream if you like that. Be specific about the kind of taco sauce you want. Mild is made with green chiles but still has a bit of punch. The ladies working the window are very friendly and helpful. The one who took my order was bilingual and her English was as great as her Spanish. There are small tables and a couple of picnic tables where you can eat or wait in the shade or sun. Parking is directly next to the ordering area. When I went, their NC sanitation grade was A: 95, and I believe it. Very clean! Food is well-packaged for carry home. Don't sleep on the shrimp tacos. Yes, the shrimp are deveined. Delicious. I wasn't super impressed with the fish taco, but that's just me. Churros were a tasty, sweet end to the meal. It's slightly out of the way but definitely...
Read moreI stopped in here yesterday after visiting an apple orchard. This is a rare food truck that has its own outdoor patio attached, which is exactly what we wanted on a warm sunny afternoon. The patio is covered and really nice, and the food truck is situated on a lot with grass and a beautiful sunflower mural running the length of the parking lot along their fence. So it made for a pretty setting on a quiet country road. The food also did not disappoint. We ordered a burrito (it was huge and I'm told it was delicious), churros (also great) and 3 tacos (pastor, shrimp and cow tongue). The only taco I didn't love was the pastor (marinated pork) IMO it wasn't reminiscent of the ones I had while traveling in Mexico. Their corn tortillas (gluten-free) were delicious and I highly recommend the shrimp taco. I would go back here in a heartbeat if...
Read moreEAT HERE! DO IT! Everyone in the area has been raving about this place all week! My husband and I are from out of state and decided to stop here on our last evening. It was well worth the stop among all the wineries and orchards. This food truck is a truly hidden gem! The food is amazing and we'll proportioned. My husband order the chicken quesadilla, while I had 2 steak gorditas, and we attempted to share the chori-queso. I was full after the 2 gorditas and we found we could not finish the special queso...but we took home the leftovers! I highly recommend trying the Apple Soda, as well, "Mundet". So good! And the folks running this amazing food operation are very friendly! Wish we lived more locally to visit more frequently! If you're in the area,...
