Dos Primos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Hermann

PLEASE READ! Went to Dos Promos In Hermann MO with three friends on June 2nd, 2021 and the manager let us stay past close to let us have a couple more drinks. When we got our tab back my boyfriend and I realized he didn’t charge me for my drinks and said they were on the house. I thought that was cool of him. The manager and another worker then sat down with us and continued to offer drinks and shots to us at no charge. Overall started off as a goodnight, until my boyfriend went to the bathroom as I went to make a call and my other friend stayed at the table talking to the other worker. As I got up to make a call, the manager came up behind me and wrapped his arm around my waist when no one was around. I initially thought it was my boyfriend and when I realized it wasn’t, I said no and walked outside.

This was one of the most disturbing things that’s ever happened, and from reading other reviews it’s not the first time it’s happened.

This NEEDS to...

Do not go here by yourself, make sure you have a full table of friends/family with you, or just don’t go. My older sister and I was there the day before Halloween, it was a couple hours before they closed and we were the last ones in there. We were just about to finish up as one of the cooks from the back who I had never seen there before came up the front and sat next to me and started to try to touch up my leg inappropriately! as I kept scooting into the wall and pushing his hand away and off of me. Most scariest, and uncomfortable situation I had ever been in!! I did report it that night but I guess you have to say NO or STOP out loud which shouldn’t have to happen anywhere in the first place! I DO NOT recommend this place at all! Please be careful here, and I’m not the only one they’ve made...

We visited here while staying nearby. It was recommended by our host. The restaurant is tucked away in a small corner of a strip mall, but visible from the road. Parking is limited. The decor is good and the service was attentive, but like so many of these type of places, the server wasn't interactive or chatty; just functional. The salsa was good, and the cheese dip was as well. Unfortunately the food was typical quick Mexican style; meat, cheese, beans, wrapped in a torrilla, microwaved, and served with lifeless lettuce. We had an "enchilada plate", and a "steak ranchero". There was no real flavor or presentation, and nothing to make this dish any different from any other strip mall...
