Went to the beacon on Saturday night. Jake the bartender was EXTREMELY rude and misogynistic. He yelled at me in front of other customers wanting me to pay my bill immediately when they were still open for more than 35 minutes and other customers were still playing pool and enjoying their drinks. I've never been talked to the way he talked to me that night as a paying customer too. Super disappointing. The customers next to me looked just as shocked and left shortly after I did. ok so this place boasted best chicken wings. The Beacon did not disappoint. the wings came out with crispy skin and tender juicy fully cooked meat all 3 days i went back and ordered them for dinner. they have some in house made sauces that are full of flavor but not spicy to me.(pepper head) tacos on Tuesday are well worth the trip, nothing fancy but 2.50 each can not make them at home for that price. staff was great as well.
