Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Hiawassee

I've been a Zaxby's fantastic for a long time, but this one needs serious help/change. Had a manager tell me that he can't get good help in front of his help. Last visit they gave someone else our food. Then, even after telling them, they said we had basically the same thing and made us take the other guests food. They don't bring your food to curbside, even after checking in. Then they say the manager or his computer/tablet gets the notifications and they don't know you are here. They just throw it in the pickup rack. They don't answer the phone at times, but claim they are down. It's not good.

New edit, I should have listened to my own review. As is typical, I placed the order 10 minutes before I would arrive. Parked checked in and no one brings your food for about 10 minutes. When you go in, You find it's been sitting on the shelf for quite some time and they just say oh we weren't notified that you were here. The food was literally inedible as it had been sitting for approximately 20 minutes from what I can tell.

Edit. I think that just refused to bring people's food to the car. I think they've just given up.

Edit. I was trying to understand if I'm doing something wrong by checking in and waiting on my food as I'm supposed to and the guy inside who was at least friendly, said that. Maybe you should just...

We'll start with the dining tables. Two in the afternoon is not exactly rush hour, yet every empty table was filthy. Next let's talk about ordering and change for the hundred dollar bill. The girl at the register eventually got our order correct, told me the total (less than $20) and gave me change for my $100. The change received being over $11 dollars off to the stores advantage. The manager corrected the shortage with no apology. When our order was called we discovered that the people working there liked us so much that they changed our order from "to go" to "dine in" just so we could spend a few more minutes together! Now on to the food. We ordered the famous and recommended cajun chicken sandwich and the blackened bleu salad. The salad was pretty good, and the better deal of the two with what appears to be a decent quality cheese. The sandwich tasted good with the chicken being delightfully seasoned but how does one eat a sandwich that comes with a bun that literally disintegrates? The only way to eat it was with a fork...what a gooey mess. A quality bun would make this quite an awesome sandwich. Finally the fries. Our description is that they are apparently frozen krinkle fries and mealy blah and in desperate need of catsup. All in all still WAY better...

The restaurant was disgusting. Every table needed to be cleaned, and it was not busy. Maybe 4 tables total full. The bathrooms were gross and toilet paper all over the floors. Our order was wrong. My salad had slimy, rotten pieces. The trash cans were overflowing.

We used to eat Zaxbys at least once or twice a month. We had a few bad experiences with the food at other locations and decided to give it a rest. Last night we decided to see how it was, and disappointed, once again. I don’t think we will be back any time soon. $25+ for two people’s meals and to have them be wrong- chicken hard as a rock, ordered wings and got literally one flat, toast hard as a rock, said no fries and extra toast, but got fries. Then the rotten salad that could have been sickly....
