McDonald's — Restaurant in Higginsville

As a driver I've been to this McDonald's many times. This visit left a lot to be desired. Employees were friendly enough and some what helpful. The food on the other hand was a big let down. I ordered a bacon quarter pound burger and no salt fries. The fries were good but the burger 😖. It was as if they made earlier that day and waited for someone to order it. Patty looked burnt was dried out and stiff. Cheese was fresh at one time but had melted and dried and was cold. Whole sandwich had that reheated in a microwave look and feel. And was poorly constructed. Problem was I'm out the lot and entering I-70 before I realized what I had. Needless to say the sandwich went in the trash. This is the 2nd time in a month I got burger like this. I thought it was a one off. Are they pre-making sandwiches in hopes they will be bought before they go south? Looks like I'll have to stick to the subway at same location. As far as atmosphere another customer asked a girl cleaning the lobby about changing tv from news to local football game. What he got was a long winded excuse about she doesn't know anything and no one told her about the TV. Said manager told her when she was hired they didn't know where the remote was for the TV so don't ask her because she just works there and doesn't know anything. All in all this visit was a big let down for this McDonald's. As I said, as a driver I see quite a few McDonald's. This one is off the list.......after scrolling through reviews this location has basically the same complaint year over year that I had today. And no response to anyone from...

I'm a truck driver I came in to get a meal I order and payed. When I ask for my drink the gave me a cup I filled it up, I was looking around for straws I asked where a straws where the girl was like it will be in the bag with your food.! I ask another girl for a straw because I thought maybe the first girl was confused I was thirsty and wanted a straw for my drink while I wait the second girl was like it will be in your bag .. I'm like are you kidding me ?? Am I a child I was so confused.i ask the girl what the issues was while I couldn't get a straw the manger comes over and was like what's the problem I thought she was going help me maybe exsplain and I'm like why can't I get my straw. With a additude she was like it will be in your bag she bring ove rmy food flops it down witha. Additude walks away. I'm like I have a m flurry she slams that down also walks away .idk what is going on at this McDonald's location I usually have no problem at pilot but...

Their "All-Day Breakfast Menu" excludes the Egg McMuffin and Hashbrowns, which aren't available after 10:30am. McMuffins are the ONE ITEM I find edible at McDonald's, and everywhere else is available all day. I asked the cashier why those items were excluded, and she said that it was the discretion of the franchise owner to exclude these items. I got McGriddles instead, and they gave me bad diarrhea. Hey franchise owner, not everyone is on a 9—5 schedule, ESPECIALLY truckers. If you don't understand this, your business will fail. From now on, as a trucker, I'll just use your parking lot to park my truck, your store to take a dump, and walk across the street to get some quality...
