I had the pleasure of visiting The Cottage Gardens for brunch and tea, and despite a bit of difficulty finding it (I drove right by since it looks like the cutest little house), I was beyond pleased with the entire experience. The venue has such a cozy, homey vibe that made me feel like I was visiting a dear relative for tea and a bite to eat. The warm, welcoming atmosphere sets the perfect tone as soon as you walk in.
Customer service here is outstanding! Every staff member we encountered was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. Our server was an absolute delight, radiating friendly, joyful energy that made it impossible not to smile throughout the meal. I even managed to purchase some tea to take home for my mom’s birthday, and despite them being out of one of my picks, they graciously bagged it just for me—truly making me feel cared for and valued.
While the exterior is charming, the interior is even more beautiful. The brunch setting was lovely, with gentle country music playing in the background, making it feel like you’re enjoying a meal at your favorite grandmother’s house. It’s the perfect place to relax and savor all the food, tea, and the ambiance.
Speaking of food, everything we ordered was top-notch! Each of us got something different, and we shared bites of everything. I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy—my best friend’s choice—which were easily the best I’ve had since leaving Louisiana five years ago. The lemon and poppyseed scones with jam and clotted cream were another standout, especially with the pickier eaters among us (myself included!). Worth every bite.
The tea selection was just as impressive. I had a pot of English Breakfast, while my friends ordered iced tea and Cranberry, Almond, and Caramel tea. All were lovely and delicious.
As a ambulatory wheelchair user, I had a little trouble getting in due to some small speed bumps, but that’s a minor issue compared to the overall experience. Once inside, the warmth and care from the staff and the quality of the food and tea more than made up for it.
And the best part? The price! For three dishes, three teas, and a pot of tea, plus scones with clotted cream and jam, we only spent $51. That’s incredible value for such a memorable experience.
They were absolutely accommodating to both myself, as a ambulatory wheelchair user, and both me and my friend’s service animals. I am absolutely thrilled on both fronts of that experience.
If II’m already excited to come back for afternoon tea and I definitely see more brunches on the horizon (I’m coming for that biscuit and gravy)! Highly recommend this hidden gem for anyone looking for delicious food, lovely ambiance, and...
Read moreI would like to start off by saying we have enjoyed going to the cottage gardens in the past and we were very hopeful to have a great 1st birthday for our daughter at cottage gardens. Unfortunately that was not the case we arrived and had to shuffle a few tables around to accommodate the 16 guests we had invited and PRE BOOKED with the venue. Tables were seperated and didn’t resemble anything that would be conducive to a birthday party for infants and new mothers. The hostess was sweet and told us that we could move things around as we saw fit and use additional tables as we saw fit. Owner came in and had a meltdown walked out called her husband in to essentially intimidate the guests and my wife infront of our 1 year old to not make further adjustments. Totally inappropriate behavior especially for the situation it being a 1 year olds birthday. Also we were all young professionals very respectful of the tables and belongings just trying to make it an environment that would be suitable for us. Apologies were said later in the day towards the end of the event.
Would have been able to over look this and not report if there was some sort of financial restitution but there was no offering after this embarrassing display.
I wish this Buisness best of luck but be more balanced and set expectations up front. Definitely do not crash out and intimidate mothers in front of...
Read moreThe Cottage Gardens is a hidden treasure in northwest Arkansas! We had a large group of 4 women and 6 little girls and it was perfect! We all felt so special and cared for by Ms. Kelly. She was so kind and gracious and extremely knowledgeable about the teas. And the food went beyond our expectations. There wasn’t one thing that wasn’t delicious! We especially loved that she tries to make everything with cleaner ingredients. Everything from the beautiful decor and atmosphere, to the food and tea to even the special rose water and collagen in the bathroom was spectacular. I highly recommend this...
