Joey’s Junction Bakery and Cafe — Restaurant in Highgate

Not sure if this place is permanently closed for sure. They maple syrup in the spring and when that is over, this place opens up. I've thought its closed a few times but it always pops back up. Let's hope it opens back up because this place is absolutely amazing. The owner is hilarious and super friendly. Portions are super huge. Stopped here on a whim one day passing by and couldn't believe what an awesome find...

What a little gem of a place! The food is delicious, much much better than you would expect from a small roadside cafe. HUGE portions, lovely atmosphere with canopied outside dining overlooking a pretty pond. Great service, reasonable pricing and beautiful artwork on display as well as for sale. I just wish this cafe was in my town, Georgia! It is definitely worth the trip to Highgate, you will return...

What a hidden gem! We have lived here for two years now and came across this place today. We ordered the avocado toast with the maple oat bread, bacon, and country fried steak. Sarah was our server and she was so personable and on top of it. This will be our new spot. We look forward to enjoying creemes and the view on the lawn by the water...
