Update: there is no consistency with this place. Meals look different every time the last 3x. Major communication breakdowns and the flies this last time - yikes. Been about 6x total. Great flavor but they need to get on the same page with consistency in the kitchen and front of house. Was waiting for Gordon Ramsey to pop out from around the corner. Nor is it a good dining experience when there are flies coming at you almost the entire meal. I probably wouldn’t be leaving this review if the flies weren’t so bad. When we said something to the waiter about battling flies, he just looked at us and then said “enjoy.” Okay
Waiter then just disappeared for an extended time. Also way overpriced considering the portions have decreased. 2 pieces of chopped shrimp in a taco, and making it 3 tacos for $18 is wild. Used to be much more filling. Like 3-4 pieces per taco plus was more pico and avocado. They also no longer give the extra cilantro and onion on the side. There was barely any meat in the birria tacos, which were even more expensive, and the cheese wasn’t melted. Was also more of a quesadilla than the original tacos. Rice was overcooked. Then we see a table with massive portion sizes and food that looks warm otw out. What? Who’s cooking back there?? Been downhill ever since that 2nd time going. I think it’s the last time. Don Ramon’s is what’s up. Updated photo for comparison.

Been twice. Both good experiences. Got birria tacos 1st time. Shrimp tacos this time. Birria tacos were good but the shrimp tacos OMG. Amazing. Love love love them. I think they were called Rosarito or something close to that. Def going to be my go to order from now on. Shrimp tacos came with 3 total but I got partway through before thinking to take a photo. Fresh salsa, guacamole also really, really good. Atmosphere is great. You can go dressed nice or in sweatpants and be totally comfortable either way. Def recommend...

Update 3/9/2025 Back again, love this place. Service was great, as usual. Food was delicious. We stuck with the same food items and are not disappointed.

Update 9/8/2024 Gave it a second try with some out of town family members. I ordered the same Burrito Bishop as the first time I went and reviewed. This time I asked for no cilantro and the burrito was so much better! My family members got other Taco and burrito dishes and everyone loved their meals. Because of this, I've upped my original 4 stars to 5. Service was great. Four of us dined for about $90 before tip.

First time visiting, overall, not bad.

Atmosphere, service, and overall food was pretty good. Their flavoring is a little different than I'm used to from other Mexican dishes which is why I'm only doing 4 stars instead of 5. They are very heavy on the Cilantro, which I hate. I should have asked to not have the Cilantro but forgot when actually ordering. Maybe next time I'll ask to have it removed.

I had the Burrito Bishop and my wife had the Tijuana's Burrito. We shared some cheese dip with chorizo.

Overall, everything was good, just my not being thrilled with the flavoring. We will...

I can’t believe I just discovered this hidden gem — Tijuana’s Street Tacos is now one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and great energy. The entire staff is super friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Special thanks to Manager Luis Ramos, who runs the place with true passion and makes sure every guest feels at home.

Our server was fantastic — professional, upbeat, and made great recommendations. The food came out hot, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. The guacamole is easily one of the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried plenty!). The salsas are unique and delicious, and even the tortas, which aren’t listed on the menu, were outstanding.

We sat on the patio, which was cozy and perfect for relaxing, though the inside looked comfortable and stylish too. Service was fast, drinks were always full, and every staff member went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.

Overall, an incredible experience from start to finish — great food, friendly people, and top-notch service. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending Tijuana’s Street Tacos to...

My wife and I had our first dinner there last night which was Friday, July 28. We came in at about 645 and sat at the bar. Our first observation was of the total renovation of this restaurant. It is very modern with good screening to help break up the noise. The noise level was low to moderate. Our waitress knew and had tasted every dish we asked her about. The food was excellent and we have been Mexican food addicts for many many years. The staff was professionally dressed and obviously well trained. Our food came to us in well under 10 minutes in contemporary dishes. You will likely need more than 10 minutes to finish their jumbo margarita which was also great. Chips and salsa were complimentary and average at best. This restaurant is less than a mile from our house and we will be going back frequently. Food is a bit on the pricey side, but a great experience.
