8/25: 2Go lunches- 2 salads and a gyro. All good. And i had the chocolate cream pie and it was good,. Not too sweet.

6/5/23 lunch to go - got the blackened chicken breast salad. It was good even though it was iceberg lettuce.

4/21/22 lunch to go- i ordered a chicken cheese steak with NO Mayo! Came with Mayo on it :( also the bread for this sandwich was cut completely thru, not correct, needs to be a hinge so the food doesn't fall out.

3/9/23 back for lunch with Mom and a friend. Mom had the chef salad. I had the mushroom and swiss burger, it was good. Service was good & friendly.

10/31/22 first time here. Brought my Mom to meet with her friend for a nice lunch.

This is a cool place and has a nice chill vibe to it. Plenty of ceiling fans for an even cooling of the dining room. My 95 y/o Mom didn't feel a draft (that's good right?).

The food was good and fresh. All three of us has salads. Decent portions and quality chicken on my salad. Salads come with soup and it's a 'self serve soup station' , say that four times fast (nevermind it's easy, lol) so don't forget to get your soup.

Service was really good and they have the same modern point of sale devices that they use in Europe. So it's really easy to pay and split a check. (Pic)

I'm sure I'll be bringing my...

Great family diner/cafe in the Frostproof, FL area. It’s was super busy on a Sunday morning, our first clue that it was going to be a great experience! We opted to sit at the counter (only three seats) so we could save some wait time. We love to watch the restaurant operate, too, especially when it’s a fine oiled machine which this was!! Our waitress greeted us and we ordered and what seemed to be in no time our order was right there in front of us. Veggie omelette had nice sized veggies in it and was plenty! Home fries looked and tasted homemade! Husband ordered corned beef hash, eggs and we both had a biscuit. The biscuit was very good as was everything he ordered. The restaurant was super busy and loud but all the staff were friendly and had smiles on their faces. Looked like they had enough help to support this charm of a place. Great experience and when we pass by again we’ll be stopping again to try something else...

Solid restaurant in the Frost Proof area. It;s right off of 27 and easy enough to get in and out of, although it does have a smaller parking lot and can get busy. When we arrived we were promptly greeted and seated quickly. It was busy right after church time and filling up quickly - so I recommend you get there right after or before most churches end times if it's a Sunday.

The menu s short but has a lot to offer. I had the salmon, which included access to the sides and salad bar. The salmon was delicious and the salad bar has a lot of offerings. All entrees include the sides and salad bar, so you get plenty of food, especially for the price point.

The restaurant has an older feel to it, and has tons of vintage style movie posters all the way around. I was unsure why the movie posters, but it was neat!

Overall: A Gets super busy on weekends, so go on off times if possible. Otherwise...

The experience started w/ adding our name to the waiting list. There were many people waiting outside so I asked how long the wait is and was told 15 mins. 5 mins later we were seated. We were pleasantly surprised by the creamer baskets at each table filled w/ half and half, hazelnut and French vanilla. The menu had so much to offer, we ordered more than our typical breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and kind. The waitstaff were festive, from their different holiday socks to their Santa hats and headbands. My family and I have found our new favorite restaurant.

We have had breakfast here twice in the past week, including at 9am on Feb. 8. Probably the only Canadians in the place, judging by license plates. This restaurant on Hwy. 27 north of Avon Park is open only for breakfast and lunch now, and is often packed... families and seniors. the food is good and the service is friendly and efficient. (No longer open at dinner time as of this month.) Not fancy but a nice homey atmosphere. (See my photo.) I had two eggs, bacon, toast, hashbrowns, and coffee, about $9. So, good value if not "super cheap".
