Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in Hillman Township

I live close to this DQ, maybe a 10 minute drive and I usually only go once a year. I bet you're wondering why...well I'm about to tell you! The employees there are simply awful! They are rude, they are snotty, and they are all about what they won't do. I cannot tell you how many times they have told me they aren't serving hotdogs anymore because they are in the freezer...or they can't make that kind of shake because it's "too hard". Not to mention how they treat you like an inconvenience if you ask for a lid or spare napkins.. as a business owner myself I would reccommend having a serious talking to with those girls on how important customer service really is!! I'll be finding a different ice cream...

I’ve been coming here every summer all my life for ice cream and the ice cream is always phenomenal, as are the employees usually, only today I went there with my grandparents and ordered a blizzard flavor. Only seconds later I saw another flavor on a smaller menu that I hadn’t seen before and asked to change my flavor BEFORE paying. I was told very specifically, “no”, and they already started making the first one so I could not change it. Went for a buster bar. Online showed open until 9pm, but they closed at 8, & were cleaning up. Wish correct hours could be posted : ( Also visited Hillman DQ in May, 2024. They must be making their own buster bars now, like the Alpena DQ does, because mine was much shorter than the factory made ones like I got just a few weeks ago in a different town, but yet they use the factory bags that give the factory weights, calorie and nutrition counts, and they staple the bags shut.
