We have gone here on several occasions and enjoyed the food. Today was Mother's Day and my husband and son decided to take me. When we first got their it was only a few people in the restaurant. We order are meals and few minutes after our waitress came over and told us that our sandwich we order they usually don't make the half's differently but they would this time. We thank them. About 10-15 minutes later my husband and I received our food- which was incorrectly made. We also got the loaded fries we ordered but not my sons meal. We thought maybe it will be out in a minute after several attempts to get our waitress she finally came over we alerted her to the missing meal and asked for some sour cream for the loaded fries. It took 5 attempts asking several different waitress/bartender to get the sour cream at which time over 15 minutes went by making the load fries now ice cold- we tell our waitress who takes the fries into the back room where the pop it into the microwave which made the fries soggy and gross!! Finally my son food comes out he takes one bite and say Mom please try this it doesn't taste cook. I take one bite and it definitely was not cook so we checked the other 4 tender and 3 out of the 4 were various stages of RAW!! from light pink to rubbery pink!!! A definite health issue eating raw chicken. We spoke to our waitress and she stated well you have to understand it is busy . I will talk to the manager and see what he can do but it may take a little while. THIS IS THEIR MISTAKE-she forgot to put his order in then it comes out RAW!! After waiting another 10 or so minutes we finally get our bill!! Which the only compensation is the removal of the raw chicken fingers. I liked this place but we will not be returning as we feel this situation was handled very inappropriately. Manager never came out to speak to us and try to make it right!!!!! If my son didn't realize they were raw he could be very ill right now and you could have more than just...

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant for the first time this evening. We are so glad we did!

We were welcomed and seated promptly after entering. Restaurant is very clean, and nicely decorated for Valentine's Day coming up.

Our food was wonderful, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and he ordered the meat lover's pizza. Our food came out in a timely manner and our waitress was wonderful and attentive.

The atmosphere was wonderful, there were several other parties enjoying food, but the place wasn't crowded. Several more guests came in to pick up food they had ordered ahead.

The space is bright and there is a seasonal photo op backdrop setup for guests to take a photo. A neighboring table took the opportunity and their waitress took the photo for them.

We will absolutely return again. A very positive experience and we hope this restaurant stays around for a very long time.

Thank You so much for a delicious meal in a wonderful...

I'm not the type to leave reviews like this, but this had to have been the worst dining experience I've had in years. The food was shocking. The chicken wings were rubbery and still had feathers on them, and the spaghetti was so greasy that the pasta sat in a pool of grease at the bottom of the dish, and the spaghetti sauce had seemingly only traces of tomatoes, being comprised of mostly greasy ground beef. Our waitress never came back after giving us our food, and we sat disappointed in front of our barely touched meals waiting for our check as she dashed around the dining room. The real disappointment was when we decided to get up and check out at counter, only to find our waitress taking to go orders from a line of people, back to back, without acknowledging us at all. I eventually asked the bartender for the manager who comped part of our meal. We will not be returning. 2 stars for their efforts to resolve...

Ordered: Large Meatlover's Pizza (~$23 after tax). (4/5) Ordered: Tuna Sub (1/5) PIZZA (4/5) Notes: Greek style (thinner crust, greasier), Good quality of ingredients There's two pizza places in Hinsdale: Smitty's and A-1 Pizza. A-1 Pizza is a Greek style pizza. Smitty's seems like more of a Chicago deep dish/NY hybrid. But a Greek pizza usually means it's greasier. And add a bunch of meat toppings and it's heart attack central. Light tones of oregano and garlic in the oil. The pizza was cut into squares. Flavor-wise, the cheese, meat were all good. Owner was there when I arrived and appeared friendly. TUNA SUB (1/5) ***Avoid the tuna salad subs.*** My only previous interaction with A-1 Pizza was when I ordered a tuna sub there several months back. The tuna salad tasted like old tuna out of a prepackaged tub. It really stood out as a bad tuna sub -- flavor, consistency, everything. I tossed it out after two bites.

I feel bad leaving this honestly, but it was the worst pizza I’ve had in years. First we were told it would be 25 minutes before we should pick it up it ended up being at least an hour. We sat in the parking lot and waited. when I got home with it it looked like somebody dropped the box and picked it back up again. I understand that pizza is supposed to be greasy but this was wet. The whole middle of the pizza was sopping wet with grease. Completely disappointing especially after waiting so long

It had been a while between trips but we were happy to see they were open. The food is exactly what you expect and the drinks are surprisingly up-scale. The pizza has a light crispy thicker crust, the sauce is perfectly balanced, not too bitter or too sweet, the toppings are evenly spread and not over powering making every bite perfect. The staff is super friendly and helpful, even being a busy Sunday we didn't feel ignored or like we waited too long for anything.
