Not only is this one of the most amazing Hola’s in the chain of restaurants, overall, the staff here Is truly amazing and no matter how busy they are they go out of your way to make you feel welcome and let you know that you’ll be served as quickly as possible. Yes the food is a few more dollars than in downtown but you’re in the middle of nowhere enjoying nature so why not sit back and relax. Service is top notch! We have visited several times and had the pleasure of meeting Fabio the manager and he is a really great guy I highly recommend coming to this restaurant if you want to relax and have a good time

Oh man the food and cocktails here are so good! I can only speak for the Peruvian side of the menu though. Everyone in my party of six was raving about their dishes. The service was also top notch...very friendly, professional and attentive. After several visits to Camp Sherman, I'm glad I finally got to eat here and will make a point of it whenever I return, at least once or twice a year. Though the hours are a little wonky due to the remote location, so it's not always a sure thing.

We love the manager as he spoke up about a customer verbally abusive towards a staff member. Remember folks this covid thing has wreaking effects on small mom and pop restaurant establishments. If you are looking for NY quick service go to N.Y. Relax and breathe and ask Brett to whip up some Banana ice cream flaming concoction it's delicious! Brett, thank you for your service to our country and to our family last night! We will be back.

I hate to post this but we had a terrible experience. We were super excited to have dinner here. We arrived precisely at 6:30, which was when our reservation was. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to greet us. And then we were asked if we would be willing to wait for 20 minutes or maybe 10. The reason given was that because the weather was so nice they had had a lot of walk-ins and they were really busy. We were not offered a place to sit or a drink. So, sadly, we decided to leave. A generous estimate would be that the tables inside and out were maybe a quarter full. The young woman working as hostess clearly had little training. I asked if they had a place we could sit and have a drink while we waited and she said, “I don’t know.”. Unfortunately this was a really unpleasant and unexpected experience. We left hoping to find dinner elsewhere. I did comment that people who walk in should wait while priority should be given to those with reservations. Clearly this is not how...

Bring Greg Back!

We’ve been coming to this restaurant every summer for the past three years, and it’s become a tradition we truly cherish. A big part of that is because of Greg—our favorite waiter, who always went above and beyond. Greg connected with us on a deeper level than just service. He was warm, genuine, and made every visit feel special.

We were saddened to read some harsh reviews recently, and honestly, they don’t reflect our experience at all. Yes, it gets busy around 5:00–6:30, but that’s true of any great place—especially in today’s world, where so many places are short-staffed.

The food is consistently amazing, and the natural setting adds to the relaxed, welcoming vibe. This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s become part of the heart of our summer visits and a comforting part of the Metolius/Sisters area community.

We’ll keep coming back, but we truly hope to see Greg again one day. He made this place...

Dined here last week. It was a nice meal, pricey, but that was expected and the location made it worthwhile. I ordered a carne asada taco ala carte as I wanted to try their carne asada (for me a good Mexican restaurant can be measured by the carne asada), but really wanted to try the Peruvian tamales as my main dish. Everything was fine until we got the bill, and thus the 3 stars. We were charged $14 for the single ala carte taco. It actually showed in the bill as $7 for a taco and another $7 for the carne asada. We took issue with our waiter but he just reaffirmed that's the correct price for a single carne asada taco. Ridiculous, and put a damper on an otherwise...
