Bazels Sub & Pizza — Restaurant in Holliston

Pizza was really pretty bad. Looks and tastes like frozen. Super dry and not worth the money spent. Will not be going back, we ordered there because the reviews were decent, but maybe friends of the owners…or who knows…just not good. Pic doesn’t really represent, but trust it tastes like those cardboard frozen you get at the supermarket.

Re: your response, I feel like you had some harsh feelings regarding it. It’s subjective…I didn’t enjoy ur pizza, I felt like it tasted as a frozen one would. So if u do make ur own dough, I apologize. I still don’t like it and I am allowed to describe why I don’t and offer an honest review. Although, since u opened the door, let me continue with additional reasons I won’t be returning. 1) The buffalo wings were dry (see pic of box)…not inedible, we ate them bc we were hungry, but not saucy and good. No napkins needed bc there wasn’t any sauce 2) the staff inside was not friendly upon pick-up. There were 2 lines or cashier options and after waiting we were told that we had waited in the “wrong” line for a phone order pic-up. 3) ur response to my review offering a “peek “ of ur kitchen operations is honestly a little weird and slightly aggressive. Again, I didn’t enjoy ur food, service and now management/owner mindset. So that’s it…I won’t go back and u probably don’t care anyhow bc...

I don’t often write reviews but I had such a positive experience at Bezels that I had to share. My 7-year-old daughter and I were starving & happened to find Bazels on our way home. We walked in & were immediately greeted by one of the owners (I found out later he & his brother and father own the business.) He chatted with my daughter about Christmas and made us feel genuinely welcome. We sat down and my daughter said “he’s so nice!” A few minutes later he came over with a sample slice of a dessert I had been eyeing - creamy cheesecake with a baklava crust and topped with pistachios. We talked about his children, nieces & nephews whose portraits were on the wall. After he walked away my daughter said “he’s even nicer than nice! He might be one of the nicest people we’ve ever met!!” He brought our food to us and it was hot & delicious and exactly what we ordered. We left happy & with full bellies. We love Bazels! I cannot say enough good things about this long-time favorite pizza place. We've lived in Medway/Milford for years and this is the only place we go. It used to be a once-a-week visit. Now that we've moved across town, they're much farther, but still well worth it if we are out and about anywhere remotely close to them. The family that runs it is so friendly, personable and kind. Their sandwiches and pizza are wonderful, and our order is always perfect (the sauce is amazing). The atmosphere is always welcoming. I was surprised to go in there one day to find the place completely packed, yet they were still so organized and friendly.
