I'm giving you four stars because I'm a small business owner and I understand the impact that stars have on business. However, I'm going to be honest in my review here based on my experience at your location. I come in and the waitress was very pleasant. Very nice and very helpful. I asked for a margarita and asked for onions fresh tomatoes baked extra long and crispy. Without having a menu in front of me, the waitress felt like she had everything she needed and proceeded to place my order in the kitchen. About 15 to 20 minutes later, I got my pizza. After biting into the first slice, I realized that the margarita had no tomato sauce on it. I was not aware when I ordered my Margarita that this pizza did not come with tomato sauce on it like a traditionally does. Without having the menu in front of me, I was not aware that their version of the Margarita was totally different than the traditional margarita. I feel like if you're going to change the margarita from its traditional ingredients then the pizza place should not call it a margarita all together. I felt like I was getting was breadsticks with tomatoes added to it. I explained my concern with the waitress and she politely offered me some pizza sauce. I waited to bite my next slice of pizza until I got the pizza sauce. After getting the pizza sauce brought out to me, I found myself dipping the pizza slice into the sauce with every bite and it was not pleasant. Again, it brought me back to the feeling like I was eating breadsticks with cheese and tomato on it. It was not the traditional Margarita as I grown to love. I was quite disappointed in the fact that they would change a traditional very well-known pizza and tried to call it the same thing. The waitress was very considerate of my concern here and offered the pizza on the house. I politely accepted her offer and left the rest of the cheese bread for the staff to eat. I don't understand why restaurants completely change the ingredients of traditional style food without trying to rename it to their particular brand. A little words of advice for restaurants, particularly Italian pizzerias, If you decide to change a traditional pie ingredients, consider ed completely changing the name of the pie so you don't confuse your customers who come in to enjoy a good old traditional margarita pie.
Overall my experience was pleasant. The only thing here missing was the tomato sauce on the margarita pie. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. The only thing I would do different is when you order your margarita make sure you tell them that you want it traditional if you're looking to have that...
Read morePoor service and management doesn't seem to care. I've only come occasionally since moving here- the pizza is average but the dough is not very good. The rest of the food is average as well. But it's all way overpriced for the quality. And the lack of concern about customer satisfaction has put me off the place for good: I placed an order on the phone today, was given a 30 min time and showed up after 40 min. My food was nowhere to be found. Rather than quickly start making it again, all 3 people at the register started trying to figure out what happened (it didn't matter what happened, because they didn't have the food). 10 minutes later they finally find my ticket and ask the manager/owner what to do (she told them to ring it up again). 10 min after that my food is ready, but they cant figure out how to take payment. Finally the poor girl at the register feels terrible it took so long and asks the manager if they should give me a discount or something. Manager lady says 'Nope'. Nothing. I didn't get an apology, a simple I'm sorry, not even a look from the manager. Just a disdainful attitude from her and a sideways glancr - she seemed more annoyed that I was there holding up the line so much. I feel like I probably sound like a prima donna here, but for the high price I expect...
Read moreMy family has been going to homegrown for 20 years, we were craving it tonight, so we ordered it on Grubhub for delivery. We got 24 wings and ordered 6 cups of ranch because we really like their ranch. We received no ranch at all. I called to see what happened and to see if they gave it to the Grubhub driver so that I could call him. The girl that answered the phone was short with me and unapologetic. She first said that there was no ranch even ordered, but after checking further she changed her mind and said that I would get a refund of $3 for 4 cups of ranch since 2 ranches would have been included with the wings anyway. I also noted that the cheese fries didn’t have bacon and she said they don’t come with bacon, but the Grubhub picture and description has bacon on it.
While I was typing this review, a girl called me back that was very apologetic and told me I was actually supposed to recieve 9 cups of ranch since the cheese fries and 3 orders of wings had them included and I ordered 6 extra 🙃 she let me know that I would need to request the refund through Grubhub because they can’t process it on their end. I appreciated the call, but i definitely won’t order delivery again because eating wings without ranch is criminal and I can’t let that...
