Friendly staff and a great atmosphere!!! I was gonna just grab my food and leave but I decided to stay. I just felt so welcome and loved by the staff. I will definitely be back many more times. The loco Moco I had was OUTSTANDING I mean sweet Jesus! it was good. The gravy was awesome and the Patty was hand pattied beef. I'm very happy with my order and so impressed. 5/5!!!

Very friendly ladies! I was told to come here by my friend and customer Aric who purchased 2 cars from me (25 years apart!) I ordered the hamburger curry golash local style not Hungarian. It was pretty Ono be sure to ask for pickled onions!

Stopped by to pick up some breakfast and ran into a really uncomfortable situation with the owner. She was calling city workers lazy and basically really rude and obnoxious. Her own worker looked uncomfortable with what the owner was saying. I work in the city's sewer department, and if she wants to try my job instead and see what we deal with then she can talk.

I've recommended this place to friends for years because of the great burgers, but now I am NEVER going back and not recommending this to anyone. It makes you wonder what she says about anyone...

Penny's is a classic mom and pop's shop with delicious Hawaiian classics. My partner and I tried their garlic chicken and loco moco and were blown away. And they are right about how their service came with a personal touch.
