I'm honestly super disappointed in this Domino's. Before this time, and the last time; we almost never had issues, or have had small issues, which we were able to work with. Let me start by saying one of my kids has food issues; he's on the spectrum and is very precise about how foods are made. He LOVES Domino's. It is his favorite pizza place, and even more so now that they have the stuffed crust. Last time we ordered food, the pizza was wrong, the icing for our cinnamon knots was missing, and our drink was missing. Unfortunately, we didn't notice all of these things at once, only when we went to open things to eat. (The driver was AMAZING, and kind, and patient with these issues. He drove back to our house 2 other times. Once with the drink that was missing and the icing, and the second time with the correct pizza; we tipped him extra because we knew he was missing out on tips by bringing out the food that was missing or made wrong in the kitchen) However, tonight was a night that was in particularly difficult for my child. The second he saw that the whole pizza had the same topping, it was tears and frustration for him as he struggled with the food, because it wasn't the usual food we get for him. We offered to peel off the topping, but it wasn't the same as it not being on there for him, and the seasoning is something he just doesn't do well with (we always get season-free crust). I tried using the app to report the problem, but because I had closed out to double check that it wasn't something that I did wrong, I couldn't get back to the spot to report a problem. (If it were my own mistake, I would own that mistake.) When I called, the woman on the phone surely didn't want to be there, so I tried to just get the information to her quickly because sometimes people don't want us to beat around the bush, and want us to get to the point. She expressed that she could credit our account or re-deliver the correct pizza, but it would be at least 45 minutes. I asked for it to be re-made and re-delivered (mind you, my child knows that the pizza is already wrong and just calming from the emotional meltdown at this point) She mentioned again, that it would be 45 minutes; almost seeming that she'd rather just credit the account. I let her know that I get that, but the pizza was asked for by my child who can't eat it the way it is right now. The hang up was quick.
I'm frustrated because we are super kind when we call. We treat people with respect because that's the right thing to do, and for someone to be annoyed because they made the pizza wrong and we're asking for a correction, is infuriating because it's not that we WANT to call and ask for a re-order. I'd love to just take the credit, but taking the credit means that one of my kids doesn't eat the one thing they asked for, for dinner tonight. Compassion is not difficult. Understanding someone else's struggle, is not difficult. I understand that they may be short staffed. I understand that they may be busy. But they messed up the order, and I can honestly see why people don't even want to call and correct their order; and instead just stop ordering from here. (I don't get that luxury because this is my child's favorite pizza place) Just, please train employees to understand that people aren't always trying to be a pain; people aren't always trying to be angry; people aren't always trying to get their money back or free food; sometimes, some of us just have other forces against us that we have to navigate and work with and through.
Edited to add It apparently takes over 20 minutes to "quality check" the food. And we've already hit the "45 minute mark" for...
Read moreI've never had a problem with a Dominos anywhere else, it's usually fast, fresh, and easy. This location however is a joke. 9 times out of 10 you will either end up waiting over an hour and or sometimes the order will be wrong. Sometimes if you're really lucky it with be both.
Last week, I had someone elses order dropped off and when I requested for a replacement it dropped off the radar for 40 minutes until I drove down there myself to get it. I expected it would be a skeletion crew given the wait time but I've never seen so many employees cramed into such a small building before.
Another time, they actually managed to deliver to themselves. I'm not kidding, set for delivery. Delivered to their own store. How does that even happen? I'm happy I paid a delivery fee plus tip so you could put it on the counter congradulations.
Today I'm told they're out of my drink which is not a big deal, then they proceed to take a full hour to get it out the door. For context I live a few minutes away so maybe it's on me for not wanting to pickup and today specially we're experiencing a snow storm. That said I work in Nashua, and I just spent the last few hours doing a round trip to pickup my wife on the otherside of the river so I'm well aware of how the roads are and they're managable right now. We decided after shoveling that a quick thing like pizza was ideal. So you could imagine my frustration after waiting over an hour for this quality check to clear when we see our driver shoot past our road on his delivery route. This is not a round trip sort of deal, they literally need to pass directly past my sideroad to get anywhere else in town. You're really going to make us wait another 20-30 minutes for this guy to my food for a walk around town because he couldn't spare a minute for our side road? Super. I called for my money back and got the it's tough out there right now lecture. I'm aware, I drove in it too, but here's the thing.. if you're going to be open for delivery you gotta figure it out. Either you're offering the service or not, if it's such a problem revoke the service for poor driving conditions I'm sure people will understand.
I've had a love hate relationship with this particular location since it went up. At first it was excellent and the quality of service fell off a cliff at somepoint this year. These are just a few examples in the last 6 months I've gotten increasingly frustrated with this establishment and I'm now to the point that I may never give another Dominos my money again. It's not like it's the cheap option anymore either, the prices have risen to match just about any other place that offers better quality food. Save yourself a headache and get pizza from many of the other local places. They may not deliver, but I can't say this...
Read moreStaff were amazing, polite, chipper,up beat, out going and very helpful and surprisingly pleasant!! Wich is always appreciated in customer service situations! Wich is so very hard to get now a days! And I just find it to be wildly insane that it seems like to much to ask for when giving a kind, outgoing, pleasant attitude when I am in public! And most of all my food is always on point!! Pizza is perfect! The way I ordered it and like it! My cheesey bread is never burnt! And I'm actually almost willing to finally get my favorite order again from Domino's Wich is just my chicken Alfredo in a dish! Very simple I feel and for the last year any Domino's I happen to go to, in Manchester 3 different locations or even back in Conway one location there all of those locations have ruined Alfredos for me and my husband!! Legit not sauce left because it has sat and burnt the sauce off and three quarters of my noodles up and intintially makes it un eatble unfortunately I am not one to ever complain or bring my meals back... and there's been a couple of times I politely mentioned and showed them and nothing had changed so I just...
