The Appetiser was good, well presented, nice flavours (tropical shrimp). The stake I ordered was cooked to my specification, but the rest of the plate had a strange, overpowering flavour in everything that I couldn't pin down. It wasn't horrible, just unpleasant and reminiscent of too many ingredients in a soup.

The crust of the pie was rubbery, and the sides of the pie had started to dry out, making the whole thing unappetising. I did try the filling - which was nicely done. It was a good highlight of the berries flavour without being sickly sweet. Overall, we...
Read moreWithout a doubt the food is excellent. However the service can be spotty. Was in for brunch not long ago and the food was excellent, the service was impeccable. Had dinner there recently and the service was marginal at best. It was at the end of the meal where the service broke down. We had a very long wait for the server to bring our tab. When I asked one of the employees there if she would ask our waitress for tab the employee made no effort to find out if our waitress could help help us. When the waitress finally came to our table with the check we asked her if they could separate the two checks as we inadvertently forgot to mention that at the time time of ordering. Her response was "We'll just split the tab and put on your credit cards" Really? One of us had the ribeye dinner while the other one had two tacos. Rather that make a scene and take up more time we agreed. I can sympathize if they are short handed but laziness is unacceptable. It was disappointing as this restaurant...
