As a Prince George resident we were excited to see a Mexican restaurant coming to our area. We previously frequented Mi Rodeo, El Paso (Both Colonial Heights) and El Caporal (Dinwiddie) Each delicious in their own way! With that out the way... We decided to give this place a shot a week or so after opening. Place was fairly busy and seemed to be heavily staffed. Employees were friendly but were kind of all over the place which was to be expected being newly opened. Now to the food.... And mind you we are very open to trying different recipes and foods. However, we eventually got our chips and dip after sometime waiting and unfortunately this is the part where I have to really say that I will not return to this. The salsa both white and red were extremely bland not much flavor whatsoever and we had six separate dishes and everyone could come to agreement politely saying we will not be returning to each other. The food is a little on the higherside cost-wise however you do get quite a bit as with every Mexican restaurant but yet again every single dish tasted very bland. Nice people, nice facility what food is just not where they should be specializing inthis is the number one least-liked behind a Mexican restaurant in outer Banks that is similar but has more flavor. hopefully they are able to go through and revamp their entire menu or maybe sit down at a couple other places to eat and take ideas from that if that was to change into food became season well and good it would certainly be regular customers instead of driving to Colonial Heights or dinwiddie for some good...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Morelia Mexican Restaurant in Prince George, Virginia, and let me tell you—it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, setting the tone for a fantastic meal.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. The chips and salsa were hands down the best I’ve ever had—crispy, perfectly seasoned chips paired with fresh, flavorful salsa that was just the right balance of spicy and tangy. Every bite was a taste of perfection, and it only got better from there.
The service was equally impressive. My server, Tania, was an absolute rock star! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal. Her genuine enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Tania truly went above and beyond, delivering top-notch service with a smile.

Read moreIt. Was. Delicious... I feel bad because I'm cheating on my normal spot, but man oh man was it WORTH it. The staff is very warm & friendly. The service was prompt and light hearted. A muy authentic dining area, w/ a beautiful mural across the walls. The food was plentiful, hot and delicious. We had empanads as an appetizer, and they were really good! Nice and crulispy. Great yaste. Wife had surf & turf, could use a little more seasoning but it was cooked perfectly. I had the molle enchiladas, and carnitas dinner, w/ beans and rice. Both were delicious. I also had a Texas Margarita, it was very good. I felt it after the 1st one and I am 210lbs lol. I believe my wife had the Patron margarita, she enjoyed it as well. They also have a kids menu so that is a bonus!! Overall Im looking forward to going back to this place soon. Well worth it and such a great value. I loved it.
Well until next time, I wish you all unconditional love, the peace of Jesus that surpasses all understanding, and God's blessings...
