Worst experience I have ever had in a long time. Came in to pick up my take out 5 minutes later than told it would be ready. The man at the front laughed and said it will be another at least 25 min. Suggested I sit at the bar and wait. I went to the bar ordered a single drink and wait over an hour and when I saw someone come and go the whole time I was there approached the host again where I see my food ready and he says welcome back. Welcome back?! I have been there for an hour waiting!! He goes to give me the food and I said I have a single drink I ordered at the bar I suggest he take care of it. He tells me it’s illegal. I said fine give me my tab which he can’t find… because the bartender failed to ring me up. Unbelievable… I threw him cash and he tells me off politely. I’m sure he pocketed the money and I will absolutely never set one foot in that door again. Had I not pre-paid for food I would have left right...

When your first impression is an oversized fish in a dangerously undersized tank, it really makes you question the care they have for their cooked fish when they treat their one live fish so poorly. We ordered the veggie fried rice as a starter. It came out with everything else which is fine, but it lacked so much flavor that had to be compensated with the soy sauce on the table and the only veggie was broccoli. I ordered the salmon avocado sushi roll & was surprised when i received a roll with cooked salmon. Not typical preparation for that type of roll (which was not ordered from the cooked sushi section), so it just threw me off. My dad was happy with his miso ramen bowl & my mom with her shrimp/scallop wok meal. Overall, the service was lacking & slow, a common comment from a lot of these reviews. The wife and I came here for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. The drinks were really good, I had the dark and stormy and it was perfectly mixed each time. The wife had the hot saki and she absolutely loved it. We had the soft shell tempura crab for the first time and it was so much better that what I was expecting. The crab meat was juicy and flavorful and the tempura breading was crispy and well seasoned. The sauces went super well with each of the items. We also had the bacon buns, which were delicious and creative, a must get. The sushi was very flavorful, but could be rolled with better care.
