Atmosphere: 2/2 Stars Coffee & Pastries: 1/2 Stars Staff: 1/1 Stars
Summary: My wife and I decided to try out this coffee shop on our way up to New Hampshire for the weekend. The shop itself was quaint, clean, well decorated and really had the small town feel to it. We ordered a couple of pastries along with a decaf late and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was fair and the food was good but not great which is why we decided to give 1/2 stars. Ethan, who helped us, really made the experience a positive one. He was very kind and charismatic and he really ensured we got everything we ordered while also giving some insight on some of the offerings. Keep up the good work Ethan!
In summary, I would definitely come back as it is conveniently located on the way to 495. Feedback: Warming the pastries in a mini oven may improve the experience by giving a nice crisp.
Atmosphere: This cafe along with the next door market had such a welcoming vibe, full of fall decor and fresh produce/flowers. The coffee shop isn’t very large but it really is kept up nicely. It is clean and organized and I love how they have the various coffee blends on shelves right when you walk in. Also, they really do a good job at advertising all of their sweet offerings which are scattered around the shop.
Coffee & Pastries: I ordered the special of the day called the “Meg”. It was definitely tasty and I cannot pretend to know how to fairly critique coffee so I will leave it at that. The bacon egg and cheese met the expectations. It was basic yet tasty. The chocolate croissant, the banana nut muffin also met expectations but warming them using a microwave may have impacted the texture. The maple bacon scone tasted good but I can’t say that it tasted fresh. All in all, the food was good but it did not exceed my expectations.
Staff: Right when we entered, Ethan made us feel welcomed. His positive and sincere energy really allowed my wife and I to embrace the shop in it’s entirety. He accurately took our orders and ensured everything was...
Read moreI was happy to stumble upon this cute cafe, with everything you need to kick start your weekend! I've never had the red barn coffee but I'm a Columbian coffee fan and their regular brewed coffee was delicious. Even more delicious was the Mocha fudge gingerbread muffin top. I could ask for that with my last meal on Earth. So light and fluffy with fudge in the middle. The atmosphere was extremely welcoming, the woman who took our order was a little less pleasant as we were taking our time looking around and figuring out what to order and she seemed to want to speed us up. The decorations are all coffee mugs that are also all unique and it was fun trying to look at all of them. They had a cute outside table that looked so cozy if there was just a little heater in this weather (December). I wish I lived closer so they could where I get...
Read moreThe coffee shop had a charming vibe with lovely and aesthetic decorations inside. The barista suggested some great ideas, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. Coming from a background of only trying Starbucks or Dunkin before moving here, I thoroughly enjoyed the unique experience of Red Barn Coffee. The added bonus was being able to shop for their merchandise, which added to the overall enjoyment. It's a regular coffee place for me every morning...
