My 13 year old son and I showed up on a Thursday around noon and were greeted in the store and paid 80 for 2 w cart for 18 holes. Great Pricing and wonderful course. There were cool animals and wildlife all over the course with stone walls, some water, old buildings etc. The 13-17th holes are across the street deep in the woods and extremely fun. My son said it's his favorite course. The restaurant was incredible too. Fish tacos were great. Very impressed. If they just had more of a pro shop and sold items with their logo and name on it would have been cool. They should order logo balls and sell them since a lot of us collect one from each course we play. Greens were really nice overall. Some browning but it's August so understanding. The 13-17th holes were very challenging and the first 12 and 18th were more open. No tee times so just show up and hope it isn't busy. It's always luck of the draw at every course. Nice to not get paired up when you don't want to. We will be returning every single year.

Great place if you want a relaxing golf outing. Very inexpensive and grounds are well kept. We use this as our go-to for last-minute decisions to play as no T times are needed. Also, you can play 11, 13, or 18 holes, with the last 5 holes being the most challenging due to terrain. If you are just starting your golfing career or just want a relaxing day, this is your place. There are no bunkers and only one water obstacle. The staff is always polite and and the food is always delicious if you want to grab a bite after your game.

This place is a lot of fun. Front holes are open and the back are challenging. Can’t beat the prices and the food is delicious.

The 11th Green Restaurant and Pub at Wood River Golf is an excellent large family-owned and managed restaurant. The entire Thompson family and their helpful staff are very amiable and down-to-earth.

I believe the best way for me to describe the cuisine is "gourmet home-style food". Yet happily the prices are reasonable with the portions generous. The food is always fresh, and there are many creative dishes to choose from; vegetarian and GF options too.

Our family/friends have eaten there (or gotten take out) many times over the years and have never been disappointed.

They offer lunch and dinner, a Today's Specials menu and a bar menu. Great desserts! Take out is also available.

In the warmer months they use their substantial garden grown behind the kitchen for many of the menus delicious vegetables, also buying locally when they can.

The 11th Green Restaurant includes a large separate banquet room that capably accommodates parties, showers, fundraisers, tournaments etc.

Seating throughout gives diners a relaxing view of the golf course.

If you prefer to sit outside they recently added a beautifully landscaped outdoor patio next to a pond that includes a waterfall feature.

They are open most of the year depending on the season. They tend to close in the dead of winter for a month or so; you might consider calling ahead to check (I have found they usually are open).

The golf course is public and although I don't play golf a few people who do have told me its got about the most affordable prices in the area, even including a cart.

The restaurant is about 25 or 30 minutes from Kent County (with ZERO stop lights all the way there once you're on Rt. 95)! From the south it's about 10 minutes from the CT border up 95 (about 15 or 20 minutes north of Westerly going the back way).

Even in the summertime when the east side of South County is jammed everywhere with beach traffic this is a nice easy drive down Rt. 95 to Exit 2 then take a left and go straight about 2 1/2 miles and you'll find it set back on the left.

Needless to say I personally highly recommend it. In fact I'm having a Pavlovian Response as I...

Well, it’s been another summer and at least 8 times eating here since we tried this place earlier this year and I’m finally realizing that I never gave a review. So here it is.

The 11’th Green is on the way to our new summer place in Charlestown. After arriving a bit late one night and looking for someplace close to grab a bite, we decided to give it a try.

Well since our first visit, we have sampled many of their offerings. Turkey club, eggplant Florentine, chicken parm, heirloom pork chop special, prime rib, baked stuffed sole and deserts including their blueberry bread pudding (think that’s what it’s called) and their carrot cake. The three standouts for us have been the pork chop, the prime rib and the carrot cake, all of which have been exceptional (the prime rib), to the best we have ever had, anywhere (the carrot cake and pork chop special).

From its relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff to its great spot on the golf course, if your looking for good food, friendly service and reasonable prices you have to give this...
