Me and some girlfriends stopped here on our way to Rialto Beach for a snack. As we were paying for our food I noticed a sign that stated customers are charged a fee for using their debit cards, so I made a comment that "we are being charged to use are money." I was disrespectful in no way about what I said, just made a mere comment and the owner responded in a manner where you could tell she was offended and mad. One of my friends stated she will not be returning here again and neither will I as not only this place, but any other place that charges a fee to use a debit card is ridiculous!! The owner asked us if we knew how much processing businesses charge to use debits cards...my response is when you become an entrepreneur you know what you sign up for and the costs that come along with owning a business, so accept it and quit passing uneccessary fees over to your customers because you will...
Read moreI trusted the reviews of this place and its menu but was extremely disappointed with the service and mediocre food. I wasn't expecting gourmet food, but this was just ok for the price. I could have ignored that fact if the service was better. There was one waitress and a manager or owner on the floor for lunch today. Our poor waitress was left to take care of the entire dining room while the manager talked to locals and ignored anyone who came in. There was no one greeting new customers, I witnessed two groups come in standing confused as to whether to sit themselves or if someone was going to seat them. I also asked our waitress what they had to offer for vegetarians and was told just to order a sandwich without meat. I guess that's true, but it's very disappointing, especially when it's noted on the menu. If this wasn't one of two restaurants in the area when we needed to stop, we...
Read moreWent in to grab a bite and do some work. I sat on the restaraunt side because the lighting was poor on the otherside. I was the only person there. While drinking coffee and doing work my father called me. I talked to him for about 7 minutes when a group of 4 people arrived. When they arrived I was asked to move to the otherside because I was talking too loud and this is the restaraunt side.
Weirdest thing. I'm 33, been to 22 states, 12 countries, and spend most of my time in small towns and I have never asked to move because my conversation was too loud in a place where I was the only person there. That is weird.
Rather than spend money there I payed for my coffee and drove to another town. The vibe there may be 'quiet town' but still. I wasnt yelling or laughing.
Coffee was good and WIFI wasn't bad so 2...
