La Gordibuena Horizon — Restaurant in Horizon City

Like any other place that opens in horizon…..once they get their clientele with very good food and nice size portions they start to make everything cheap…..used to be filled to the top and flavor wise was delicious….now doesn’t taste that good as if they use day old guisados….used to love the arriero gorditas….very disappointed this time….if you want fresh go to gorditas and burritos EP…..now they do make everything fresh for that day….give them a try you won’t be disappointed….12/12 25 no need to call and make a formal complaint nothing changes just look at all the one star reviews almost catching up to the good ones and like I said it was only good when it opened…..that’s when you got all those good reviews now it’s just trash….. checkout Gorditas E.P. I’ve been a loyal customer for quite some time, and their food rarely disappoints. However, on this occasion, I was very disappointed. I ordered two gorditas: one deshebrada en verde and one with beans and cheese.

Unfortunately, the deshebrada en verde was mostly potatoes in sauce with very little meat. The beans and cheese gordita was even more disappointing. When I cut it in half to share, I noticed it was stuffed halfway with unmelted cheese and had a scoop of beans placed on top. The cheese wasn’t melted, and the beans were only lukewarm.

I had been wanting to try this place, but instantly regretted it when I got my order. I had ordered a plate of gorditas and they gave them to me individually wrapped with no beans and rice. At least it was not explained that they dont serve it as a meal. On top of that the gorditas were $17.00 for four of them.
