Saw a few articles about this place so we decided to go test it out. In a nutshell the food was surprisingly good. I ordered steak street tacos for an appetizer 3 for 12 bucks. The meat was great tasting a huge dollop of guacamole on top made them taste fantastic however, I'm used to getting these for a few dollars each (no guac) not 4 bucks each. Next was their pizza. I also ordered it as an appetizer. Wow what a surprise. We ordered the combination - 22 bucks. The sauce, garlic, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and cheese was great. I thought that it was light on the peppers and mushrooms but the general flavor and crust was very very good. Surprisingly good. - recommended. I then ordered the chicken fried steak. ($16) Menu says 8 oz but it seemed huge. I ordered extra white gravy. A Very delicious entre - I highly recommend this one. The Wife ordered the roast beef with au-jus. Not too bad - great au-jus. Personally I would slice the beef thinner and toast the bun. My buddy had the flat iron steak it was a sirloin. It was very good - recommended. His wife had the smokey. She said it was great. Side note. We had choice if soup or salad with many of our dishes. The soup was a prime rib soup. OMG. That was the best thing we had that night. Unbelievable that a soup could affect us like that. It had the perfect size pieces and amazing flavor. I had pie with vanilla ice-cream for dessert and my friends had mud pie - which is like an ice cream pie with a dark chocolate gram cracker crust. Both were very good. However, given time I believe they can up their game on the desserts in the future. The limited dessert options should not deter you from visiting. I'm looking forward to trying their other menu items.

We stopped here for late Sunday lunch. The parking lot was full however there is over flow parking. A little bit of wait. You wait at the hostess station to be seated, not put your name on a list. We choose patio dining area. Patio area is pet friendly including water bowls, area is clean and tables are shaded. Be prepared it is hot however the river view is worth it. Menu is simple with a variety of options. Burgers, salads, pizza, breakfast brunch, sandwiches and dinner. Our waitress, Debbie was friendly, offered suggestions, attentive and efficient. My friend ordered fish and chips. Nice portions and she enjoyed it. Other friend and I ordered the flat iron steak sandwich. I ordered mine with the veggie of the day, glazed carrots. The sandwich was cooked to ordered, nicely seasoned and topped with the spring mix and crumble cheese. I would of preferred the steak to be chopped up a little more to consume easier. Bottom line it was delicious and definitely recommended. My friends ordered the Bloody Mary bar. The waitress, Debbie brought them the Bloody Mary's and they could put in all the goodies they prefer. They were a little disappointed that the "goodie bar" was depleted and didn't offer bacon slices or shrimp. (Hence the 4 stars) The Bloody Mary bar is obvious a favorite and reasonable priced. When we lefted, the BM bar was restocked. Overall, this is a great place to eat. I enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I would go back to try the prime rib (Friday and Saturday night). The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.

This place is absolutely amazing! Surprised is an understatement. You know how places off the beaten path can be good? Well, I'll tell you what, if you come here and eat and you're not satisfied, then I'll pay for your meal (no, I won't pay for your meal). Where do I start? First of all, just come and try for yourself. Second, the outdoor seating on the river, is awesome! Third, the staff is great and accommodating and comparable to southern hospitality. Fourth, the food... dam! Bring an appetite! We started with the wings and the crispiness was perfect, the sauce, thai chili left me wanting to make a meal out of them. The house made ranch dressing was so good I almost asked for a side to dip my fork in(just kidding, but it is that good). Then, we split a double pattied burger that had delicious bacon and ham on it. What a great experience. Thank you guys. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I were looking for a decent dinner at a decent price, not unlike anyone else. However, this dining experience was slightly better than watching our money swirl down the toilet. We were seated, and handed two menus. After choosing from the over inflated priced menu, we placed our order. While waiting for our food, we noticed that we were eating at a dog park. The patrons that were seated on the patio, (2 parties, 7 people total) had 5 dogs between them. The dogs were allowed to run freely and allowed to "poop" on the grass without being cleaned up. So, watch where you step. We also noticed a "happy hour" menu. 2 to 5 pm. We were seated at 4. The menu showed chicken strips with fries or tots, $9. Since this is exactly what I ordered from the menu, my husband asked if I was going to receive my dinner for that price rather than the $14 on the regular menu. He was told no, that would have been 2 chicken strips rather than the 3. I would have been ecstatic with 2. We were never shown the happy hour menu. I assumed the third chicken strip was a $5 piece of chicken. They were frozen strips, slightly warmed.

My husband ordered fries with his chili burger, which was $18., and was charged extra for the fry sauce. The honey cilantro sauce was way too spicy for me and I could barely tolerate the taste. I did not assume that honey cilantro meant spicy. When I asked for honey mustard instead, I was charged extra for that. When I ordered my baked potato, I was asked if I wanted it loaded. I said yes, all but onions. Guess what...$2 up charge for the "loaded". When I got my order, I even had to find the waitress to get butter for my baked potato. Makes me wonder if my potato would have come completely naked had i not ordered the "loaded" stuff. We didn't even find out about the $2 charge or the extra charge for the sauces until we got our bill.

In short, after reliving the experience through this review, I think watching our money swirl down the drain would have been a better experience. I was afraid to use the restroom, I had no change and there may have been pay toilets.

We will never go back there and I will tell everyone I know about our...
