My gf orders food here quite frequently and has never had any complaints until tonight. The food is always made to satisfactory and the delivery is exceptionally fast when the delivery option is chosen.
Tonight she ordered a pizza and the delivery driver was asking inappropriate questions after dropping the food off. He asked if she had a boyfriend etc… This same driver has delivered food several times in the past with no issues.
She was home alone with her kids and doesn’t have means of transportation. She ordered food.. not a date with some creep! The inappropriate questions and remarks should not be a part of the delivery service.
The driver is said to be in his 30s-40s with facial hair and he drives a black or dark blue truck.
I know that Papa Dick’s isn’t in agreement with such misconduct, or at least I’d hope not, but this individual doesn’t need to be working somewhere where he is given the address of customers. Such misbehavior is not acceptable and who knows what has been said or done that has gone unreported prior to this incident.
UPDATE❗️ After leaving this review and contacting Papa Dick’s, Papa Dick’s apologized for the drivers behavior. The driver was warned to not contact my gf again, and if so, then she was told to contact the authorities. The driver ended up texting my girlfriend’s phone number the same day that Papa Dick’s gave him another shot. He said “I’m sorry you took offense to what I said when I delivered the pizza, but I was just wondering if you wanted to go out to dinner with me sometime.” He had her address and phone number because the drivers are given those details when sent out on a delivery. He misused the information that Papa Dick’s provided to him. After this final incident, Papa Dick’s was contacted once again, and this time the driver was fired. According to acquaintances after all of this, the driver was a frequent drug user and total creep and they’d been wanting him fired for a long time for other incidents, but Papa Dick’s allegedly wouldn’t do it. Read moreMy first visit was on December 12th, 2023. Excellent place to eat on my first visit. Service was okay at the bar. Could be improved. I am in the process of closing on a home. I needed to check out the area and was told to go there by a local for pizza. Satisfied with food for the most part. Wings bones in are tiny, would include the entire wing, which isn't all that more costly. Better tasting and a nicer presentation. It was recommended boneless next visit. Maybe boneless are better. The girl in the black hair was very helpful. Philicia did more than the blonde, and the blonde seemed preoccupied by her phone. I look forward to returning.
The second visit was February 25th, and the same blonde behind the bar. Appeared to be better but not batting 100%. A little less phone time on her personal phone. It also appeared she was losing control as others were helping. Again, Philicia recognized me and said you made it back, which means she has a memory to people and also stated, so I guess you're moved in now.I said good memory, but no, I close tomorrow on Monday February 23rd. So I will be here a few days in a row until I unpack stuff. In short, she deserves more hours and a chance to work the bar more. This is my personal opinion and honest opinion. More friendly and more professional. Don't know anything about the resort except I was told pets, not welcome even service/companion dogs, which is not correct as statr laws are welcome under state and federal guidelines so I never booked a room so I didn't bother to argue with an under advised clerk. Retired veteran as well. Anyway the restaurant is worth a visit I my honest opinion. Pizzas I had were not disappointing. I'm happy to live in...
Read moreI used to love this place and my family and I have spent lots of money at the resort and the restaurant. Last week I called and placed an order for an Italian beef calzone, which is not a menu item and never has been. But they have made it for me multiple times in the past. The employee that answered said it wasn't a menu item but that she would go ask the kitchen. Comes back tells me that it's fine there will just be a $3 upcharge (just like every other time ive ordered it). I say okay no problem thank you! Go in grab my food, TIP, and leave. I get home and go to eat and the lid was off the au ju and the bottom was completely soggy falling apart as I tried to eat it. I didn't call and complain because I understand it's a small business and accidents happen. No problem to grab a fork but Here is where my problem lies. At 3 pm the next afternoon I received a voicemail mail from "Jessica the manager" telling me it was no longer a menu item and that she was off at 3 but if I have any other "issues" I could call her at her personal number. Very very unprofessional. And Ive never been to a pizza place that doesn't let you pick your own calzone toppings, especially when they serve calzones and Italian beefs. And charge a $3 upcharge to have the manager call me almost 24 hours later. The only issue I had was my calzone falling apart. Makes absolutely no sense and neither me or my family will be returning to the resort...
