One thing I hate is placing a order, confirming the order but get the wrong thing anyway! I ordered 1/4 sheet cake with Butter cream icing and an additional 2 dozen cupcakes with cream cheese icing because me and my daughters rather eat cream cheese icing. Someone picked the order up for me so when it got to me I tasted the icing on the cupcakes because it looked stiff and dull like butter cream icing and not loose and shiny like cream cheese icing. Low and behold it was butter cream icing! That made me so mad because if it wasn't going to be cream cheese I didn't even need them, the cake was big enough! I called to complain about it and they tried to tell me it was cream cheese. Now I make cream cheese icing so I know how it looks and tastes. The price was supposed to be $69.00 with cream cheese icing but the amount came out to be $64.00. They didn't charge me the extra $5 because they didnt use cream cheese obviously. I don't care about the price I just want what I asked for because I could have had someone else to do the cream cheese cupcakes. Now I guess I'll scrap this icing off and make some cream cheese icing in the small amount of time I have! Don't get me wrong they have the best tasting cakes I just hate being...

We have ordered many cakes over the years from this bakery, but after this last experience, we'll be finding a new bakery to do business with! Eventhough the cake quality & taste hasn't been the same on several occasions, we continuedto give them a chance. Well, not anymore! In addition, I'm a business owner in Houston as well and customers should never be ridiculed because of their cake choice- no matter what it is! We ordered a Chocolate Coconut Cake (don't knock it 'til you try it) and the staff literally laughed in my husband's face and told him his order was weird...as if they've never heard of chocolate cake w/ white buttercream icing with coconut! This was our second time ordering this particular combination from them. The first cake was delicious, this time the cake was dry & tasted more like devil's food cake. The icing was too sweet as well and didn't taste like buttercream as requested at all! We were so disappointed we threw the entire cake in the trash! I'm loyal to who treats me right and what's good. My family and I will not be returning. This is the second time they did what they wanted to do with my cake. I had specific details on how I wanted my cake, yet they did not listen. When the older woman with the short hair opened the box, I was disappointed. My mom called and told them ahead of time for black trimming with black icing because my party theme is pink and black, and stressed NO white trimming. As I’m looking at the cake and verbally expressing this is not what I wanted, her reply was “black trimming wasn’t gont look right so I did white.” She also blamed my mom and said “it says white trimming on the paper. I was near my mom when she specifically told the lady “do not do white trimming.” The trimming is white and bulky and looks like it was rushed. I’m highly upset because the cake is the most important for a birthday event. Shame on you all for throwing my cake together and not being remorseful. I am disgusted and highly displeased that I wasted my money on a half done cake. The heavy hand of God is upon you all for playing with his child....
