I appreciate every help from the person who attended the call when I called the restaurant.
I had ordered for Pad Thai and some rolls. The order was picked up by uber eats and the order never got delivered to me. The order was supposed to reach me at 3:20 or so, but never came. I called the restaurant and the staff informed me the food was picked by the ubereats. That’s said, the issue was reported to uber and they informed me to place the order again. I did, the second time the uber delayed the pick up further. I only received my meal at 5:00pm.
Uber eats should be compensating both me and the restaurant as both of are unhappy about the issue that happen. However, nothing. They asked me to reorder and charged for the same ( Ubereats).
The staff was apologetic at all time when it wasn’t their fault. They had to prepare my meal the second time. There was no call back from uber nor did they compensate.
People, the restaurant puts efforts in preparing a meal however due to mishandling of the middle person, the tendency is to avoid ordering from the restaurant. I’d say the restaurant staff took utmost care in coordinating with the food order. I’ve yet to have my lunch as it is already dinner time. However, I’d love to visit the restaurant in person and met the staff who attended my call.
I appreciate the note that was posted to me along with a soda. Cheers to the staff
Lesson: Never reorder your order through ubereats, until...
Read moreVISITS MORE THAN TEN: This place used to be #1 and it is still very good and a gem for its neighborhood. Staff is friendly, place is clean and food is usually very good. Unfortunately as the place has gained popularity many problems have emerged. Orders are almost always delayed, up to 40 minutes frequently and it appears that they do not start your order until they see you physically despite calling it in. Pretty disrespectful if it is a trust issue. On busy days they cannot keep up, you can tell the oil is old or something else was cooked in it, eggplants not fully cooked and the prep work gets sloppy. IE: on the last visit the papaya salad did not include tomatoes or peanuts. People complain about the prices being high (for the area) but prices are fair for the quality of food you get. The problem is the food portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller for example the papaya salad is now exactly half the size of what it used to be. We are returning customers, but this place has been caught in its own popularity and needs a little work to make it back up to 5...
