This place is located inside a gas station which threw me off since there was no signage indicating this restaurant was located inside. Ordered the turkey leg with mac and cheese ($23) along with 10 wings in the flavors slap ya daddy and lemon pepper but substituted fries for the a side of jambalaya ($15). After tax, we paid over $40 for both meals which is pretty pricey for what was ordered.

Expect to wait a long time for your food. We waited about 40 mins for our order. Instead of waiting in our car in the scorching summer heat, we opted to wait inside. We found some chairs and super dirty tables propped up in the corner to use while we waited. The table was so dirty, the napkin I used to wipe the dust off was literally covered in black dirt..

When our order was done, we realized the wings came with fries instead of the jambalaya that we ordered. The girls apologized and brought out the correct side shortly after, but the jambalaya was so dry and flavorless we barely touched it. The seafood mac and cheese was decent, I wish it wasn’t poured directly over the turkey leg but rather placed on the side or underneath because it wasn’t as creamy. The turkey leg and wings were okay, they weren’t terrible but not great either. Slap ya daddy flavor was good, I didn’t like the lemon pepper as much. The flavor was too lemony and I could barely taste the chicken through the citrus.

The experience was quite underwhelming. The food was okay, nothing to write home about, and the service took much longer than it should’ve. Unless you’re fine with eating off dirty tables stored away on top of the counters, there’s essentially no where to eat inside. You’re better off eating in your car. Ummmm I went on this Sunday 9/3/23. Arrived at 1:30pm and didn’t leave until 3:30pm!! Just like most of the other reviews they do NOT tell you about the wait time. Ridiculous especially for the amount of money you pay with the lack of customer service. I just so happen to ask as it was already packed when I arrived and the ppl before me ordered a huge order.

Just like most ppl I saw some Instagram and Facebook reviews giving rave reviews but NO WAY! the food is definitely overpriced. I don’t if it is because I’m currently pregnant but I could not eat the Mac and cheese stuff with the turkey leg because to me it smelled like the noodles was just sitting in old water for a long time. The turkey leg seemed to fall off the bone though with no additional seasoning.

Then I order the pasta with chicken. NASTY. I don’t know how this could get messed up. The chicken was so dry. I was able to salvage the noodles and give them to my toddler.

I then ordered the 3 piece fish with red beans and rice. Definitely not worth 19 dollars. It was bland and my husband is from New Orleans and made better. My red beans is better.

As everyone else said customer service is a little nonchalant to none existent. I guess it’s a plus they call you when your food is ready. I don’t live in the area as I drove quite a ways to try this food. It was disappointing to say the least.

Man, I had really high hopes for this place after seeing the YouTuber come through, but it was very disappointing.

First off, it costs as if you're in a 4-5 star restaurant. There's no adequate seating or even a working restroom.

Second, it took FOREVER, literally almost an hour!

Third, the order was wrong.

Fourth, the salmon was chewy, told them, and they acted like it was supposed to be that way. There was no apology for my inconvenience or anything. One of those places where you would rather take the loss of you don't want any conflict (not who I am, I'm here for it if need be).

Fifth, the portion size for the cost was insufficient even if it was good. They definitely hooked ol'boy up cause my portion wasn't close to his.

The turkey leg was good but not $23 good. The sausage was old and overcooked (this was supposed to be removed by them)

Food aside, it's the customer service for me. The lack of apologetics for a bad experience is and always will be unacceptable! For that alone, I would NOT RECOMMEND this establishment.
