The experience at this establishment was awful. Walked into the building to not be greeted by a very pleasant young lady who gave the impression that she hated her job and didn't want to be there.
We waited 45 minutes + for our food. Ask not once but twice how long for our order. Finally asked for a refund. Not instead of the young lady saying there is a no refund policy, she started messing with the cash register as if she were going to give us a refund. She then goes and gets her cellphone and calls the owner, saying a lady wants a refund, then tells me about the policy. Finally, after 45 minutes, she brings the food up and sits it down with an attitude. The audacity.
Was going to dine in, but we were not pressed for time and took it to go. Once in the car and we opened the bags back up, we were pissed. Not only did the food not look appetizing, but it was not hot to say we waited so long. The fries were kinda burnt, and it had a sauce on it we requested to have on the side. The chicken on the fries were over cooked, too much flavorless cheese and did not look good. The egg rolls were not hot as well and were not good. Now the chicken to which is there claim to fame were not hot. When i bit into the chicken, it was grayish and had no flavor. The beverages tasted as if the machine needed to be cleaned, I tried 2, and both did not taste good.
35 to 45 minute possible wait time and your refund policy should be posted in the restaurant or the at the cash register, hence giving your customers the choice if they want to continue placing an order. Especially in the event your cashier forgets to properly inform the customer. Preparing orders should be prepared in the oder placed. The owner states that the policy and it is at every fast food. But one this day , that did not happen. Several people received their food before us. Greeting customers with a smile should be best practices for your staff. They need to realize they may only get one chance to make a lasting impression and make customers want to repeat business. There was no management on staff, which told me there was also not a certified food service handler in the building, which is protocol for restaurants.
The owner called me and was not apologetic but defensive. I know every business owner trains and expects their staff to perform well as if they were present in the building. However, we know that is not always going to be the case. Instead of clapping back at your customers' honest feedback and reviews, you should be using the feedback given to make improvements and retrain your staff. You yourself are being a good example. Your unprofessionalism, attitude towards customer service, and responses speaks volumes as to why you are receiving such poor feedback and why your staff is doing such an awful job.
It starts with management, do better.
I definitely didn't lie. You were trying to defend, not apologize, in my opinion. And offering me 20% off another visit as if I would ever go back to your establishment was very comical.
I was very patient with your staff, up until the 3 it's coming out now. There were only 3 customers in the restaurant when I left out, and the one male commented on the fact I said I was waiting so long. I have better things to do with my time than to tell lies on you or your staff. Bottom line, your business practices are bad, and you are horrible at publicly addressing customers' experiences.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreplaced order and paid for order around 2:44 pm arrived to pick up order around 3/3:05pm. only to be told my order cannot be found in the system even AFTER showing proof or purchase/payment. after a hood 4-6 minutes going back and forth they found my order and told me give them 10mins cool.. instead of 10mins I gave them a good 15/16 mins and walked in to retrieve my order just for them to tell me oh itās not ready give it another 18mins. at this point itās too much back and forth so I asked for a manager and the guy ā Chris ā says leave me message heāll reach back later.. no problem I didnāt mind then the phone hung up and I called back and a young lady goes oh heās not really a manager heās not in charge the manager not in she donāt come in on weekends like that etc.. ok cool so I then asked if itās a problem in the store who do yall contact - she proceeds to give me ā ms k ā number ⦠upon answering she goes hello and I speak with her normal tone everything fine I explained the situation because it was too much - she gets to talking and immediately im taken back because as she speaking in my head im like well there that goes because it was no point in calling her at all⦠it was the ā first & foremost ā that just took me back and pretty much instead of taking accountability it was ā you already know youāre going to receive a text message saying your order is ready ā in which how she said it came off rude. Iāve been placing many orders with them via DoorDash and their app with no problems. Spending well between $40-$55 (specially on DoorDash). But the day I decided to call in, all of a sudden itās a big issue. and after giving her lil unaccountable speech her only resolution was refund me or continue making the order. Instead of pointing fingers Ms K, take accountability on behalf of your store and workers. Not only that you went from 14 mins of chicken frying to 20-25mins. I will no longer support this business just because of MsK. and then when I get my order itās STILL WRONG! .. itās too hot outside to go back and forth behind chicken so I leftā¦oh and repeating my full order doesnāt do anything.. My family and I placed our order at 2:14pm and we literally tried to taste a little of everything, the total was $60.00 for two 10 piece bone in combos, 8 piece boneless, 2 order of egg rolls, 3 orders of waffles and a side of reg mac. The place was clean and the owner and staff were nice. We placed the order and was told it would be ready in about 15 minutes.. we received the order at 2:54 so it took about 40minutes. The wings were good and crisp and a nice size but had little to no seasoning. The waffles had great flavor but no syrup or sauce came with them, the beignets were just okay nothing amazing. The mac and cheese had way to much garlic powder/onion powder. The fries were cold and dry and you could tell they were frozen, which they could of kept. We only received 1 order of the egg rolls, that was disappointing considering we waited so long. Overall the food was just decent nothing spectacular and the only thing with flava was the waffles and egg roll. I was expecting so much more especially after reading different reviews but I was disappointed. The packaging of the food was nice but the fries should probably be placed on the side and not at the bottom. I would give this place another try in the near future just because the customer service was good and the chicken was good but I now know I will have to specify to make sure they have sauce on the chicken... I won't be trying multiple items on the menu again I think I'll stick to just the waffles, chicken and egg rolls to be exact. I believe the owner can have a successful business if she works on the wait time, making sure orders are correct and making sure the food has the right amount of flava.
