Craving some tacos for dinner, my husband and I drove to this taco truck to try out the tacos here because we were in the area. I got the Tripa tacos, which are our favorite. Let me make this clear, FLAVOR WISE - the tacos were good and the sauces were on point too. This review is for the PRICE and what I found in the tacos. Compared to some of my favorite taco places, the tripa tacos are way overpriced at $4/taco. The usual prices for tripa tacos ranges from $2-2.50. When asked about the price, I was told that the ingredients are expensive. Tripa is an inexpensive ingredient. Are the ingredients being bought at Whole Foods? I took one bite out of the first taco in the batch. There was a loud crunch and an immediate pain that followed. Fortunately, my tooth didn't break, but upon inspecting what caused this unpleasantry, I found a rock (picture provided). As I carefully continued with my meal, both my husband and I found rocks in 3 out of the 5 tacos. Are the tacos being cooked on rocks? I mean, come on. I can understand if it was an accident and one taco had something it wasn't supposed to, but over half of the order? That's unacceptable.

Went here for a quick bite. Ordered a "quesabirria de chivo", a "taco governador", and a "agua fresca de pepino y limon". The quesabirria is corn tortilla quesadilla dipped in chili sauce with goat meat, mozzarella cheese, cilantro & onion. Let me tell you guys, this is one of the best things I've ever had. It's a must try. I believe the also offer a beef alternative in case goat isn't your thing. But the goat meat is super soft and flavorful. The taco governador consists of corn tortilla with shrimp and cheese as well. Also very tasty. The truck appears to be family owned and the customer service was exceptional. Will definitely be back and recommend this spot to others.

We decided to give this place a try even though it's not close to us. The area is clean and organized, a plus for us. I liked the signage, nicely done. I can not agree with the reviews I read, the reason I drove there. I had the Birria tacos plate. The taste was not that good and I got tired of the flavor, I could not finish the tacos. The barbacoa was ok, but the tacos were very small. My wife's tacos were not good either. The meat was over cooked, almost burnt. The only thing that was good was my son's Quesadilla. He enjoyed it. I do not recommend this place even though the service was good. The food was not.
