Texas Sno — Restaurant in Houston

Been coming to this place since the very first owners had it! They’ve been awesome ever since. Great prices and good sizes of snow-cones! Presentation was good too. It was awesome just to drive out to one location and always have them there . Im not sure if the new owners are trying something new or if it just works better for them but now they drive all around Katy and park at different locations for the weekends. So you have to keep up with their Facebook page to see where they’re going to be next . Well I finally got to get my snow ball because they were close enough to me ! After waiting probably about year it honestly was not the same experience ive had with the first owners. Flavors are still spot on and delicious but the presentation of the the snow ball was not there anymore. I feel liked so many people have complained about service being slow that now they make the snowballs in such a hurry that they just dont come out as pretty and big like they used to. Also the pricing has changed significantly! They have gotten a bit pricey and im not sure if it’s because of inflation or if they are trying to make up for the cost of gas having to drive around. Also the workers at the window did not have that awesome upbeat energy like before. And I get it I understand that some may be teens getting their first job and trying something new. They probably do need just a bit of training because they seemed confused on what they were doing . Anyways the snow cones are still good! They just lacked the spark...

I ordered a small pink bubblegum and they gave me Blue bubblegum, too busy having a conversation, couldn’t get my order right. Was laughing when I said I ordered pink. When given me the blue one, they offered me to keep it because it was gonna be a “waste throwing it away” , which I said was fine, but ended up GIVEN it to a little girl. Smh. Then when they decided to fix my order , they just sat my ish there , didn’t say a word. We were highly impressed with this place. If you want New Orleans snow cones this is the place. The ice is just like New Orleans, it is like snow in a cup and not ice pieces like the others in town. The wild cherry and the chocolate are so amazing that it will be hard to try more flavors. We loved this place and look forward to trying many more options. They have a long list of choices and sugar free options as well. I recommend this for those looking for that...
