The Playground — Restaurant in Houston

So, hate to say but this place is alil overhyped. Quick summary: nice location, the music was decent, and the food good (recommend the lemon pepper wings if you try anything). Overall though, for a first time, the experience and cost was not worth it.

Parking was $40 for the lot out front. If you want to walk it's a $20 lot further down. It cost $260 ($40 for female and $60 for males) to get in. The front door ppl failed to tell us the difference in prices/ service, supposedly we were in the "fast line" so make sure ya'll ask. If you want a table/ to sit, you have to pay an additional $200+ or atleast that's what they got us for. Mind you that doesn't come with a bottle, a shot, special service, nada.

This is a nice local bar on highway 3, they have local bands during the weekend gotta follow them on FB & social media if you want to know the schedule. But it’s a good time and a nice place if you like to dance to Tejano music and all other genres. They even at times have snack food for their customers.
