The Blue Jay Inn — Restaurant in Howe Township

Nice little place along the river to grab a drink or a bite to eat on your way to Marrienville or Brookville. Stopped today on 6/22/22 after a nice motorcycle ride d ok wn from Jamestown. Had the steak sandwich for lunch & it hit the spot. I see they have Pickum Night on the first Friday of every month. They invite people to bring their own instruments & join in. They also take major credit cards now after all these years. Great stop along Blue Jay Creek for a nice ice cold drink on a hot day. Friendly owners, great service, and great prices....

I am from Florida Daytona Beach to be exact I've been up in Pennsylvania three and a half months now and one thing I found out early on is if you don't stop at the Blue Jay a couple of cold ones and a couple of shots you are missing out on the best place in this area. What a great small bar restaurant. The place is very clean and the food was great. Went because of Friday fish fry. The fish ,fries, cole slaw all excellent. Waitress very nice. We also had the shrimp basket. To my surprise about 14 fantail shrimp. The prices very reasonable. Would recommend this place to anyone. Can't wait...
