First time visitor. Came here for Thanksgiving. Much of the staff is part of "the family" as the youth and adults all come together to make the restaurant work smooth. Dinner was served Buffet Style so help yourself. Everything tasted great and I mean everything. The family does an impeccable job in filling your drinks, taking plates, get you coffee, cake, etc.... Take your time to eat as it takes a good two to two and a half hours for all to digest with everything.
Future Customer Suggestions. Get reservations early in the day at Noon or earlier to avoid the crowd rush. Also the reservation system they had at the front was written on Notebook paper so be patient as they find your reservation. If you like sugar / stevia / sweet n low, bring your own as I didn't see any. More than one customer had to wait for cranberry sauce and it did take a little bit to come out but it did, so I recommend to you as the customer to be super patient, they will get to your request, patience young grasshopper.
Two pieces of feedback I provided. 1) The restaurant needs to promote themselves more so that many other patrons can provide feedback on Google and your Facebook page. 2) Facebook states you are closed today while Google says you are open so this needs to be corrected.
All in all, a solid 9.99 out of 10.00 because to get a 10 out of 10 is almost impossible. It's a gorgeous location outdoors and well maintained. It's well insulated inside. The white table cloths and the amount of table space given between tables is sufficient. Plenty of automotive parking. One suggestion. You should have someone at the door entrance before reaching the host stand check people in as the distance from outside to host stand in not sufficient for the days when the restaurant will be crowded like Thanksgiving.
Will I come back. A guaranteed Yes as you did a great job. Other restaurants will try to measure up but my experience is many are unable to. Keep doing as you are as you are on the...
Read moreCould be 5 star. Had a fabulous fun band. I think they were called "Just Killin Time". They played favorites from the 70s and later. Their vocals were very impressed and they also could play. People of all ages danced. I dont know if they play here regularly or this was a 2 thing but I give the band s 5+. I ate Warn Baby Spinach salad with mushrooms and bacon and balsamic dressing . This item is 5 star. The bacon was not like crumbled breakfast bacon but meaty pieces soaked in the balsamic vinegar. There were lots of mushrooms and the portion was good. Highly reccomend if you like balsamic vinegar and mushrooms. 2 people had shrimp appetizer. Shrimps were cooked nice and floured not beaded but the dipping was salty soy and nobody at the table liked it in the least. Ended up taking shrimp home. They loose points for the shrimp which needed a sweet sauce. 1 had chicken parmigiana. Chicken was incredibly soft. He liked that.i wondered what they did to make it that soft? Another had Fettuccini Alfredo with fresh vegetables. Vegetables were Very crunchy. How crunchy you prefer your veggies is a matter of preference. Where they totally loose point's is the table bread. It was obviously not fresh but refrigerated or frozen, then possibly microwaved to heat It was heavy, dry and chill cold in the middle. Really made a bad first impression. Also the service was a bit lacking but I dont know if they had a bigger crowd than usual that night. Really needed drink refill but didn't catch her. We eventually got the very nice hostess to serve us and had to tell our waitress to add the item to the bill. She was pleasant and accommodating when we did see her. If I were to make just 1 suggestion I would say get a bread .machine and throw some dough in the oven when guests arrive. First impressions...
Read moreI felt the need to write this review only because of their outstanding service, although their food was good also. As I left this restaurant, I drove home feeling very happy because of how amazing the staff was and how they treated their customers above and beyond. It left such a great first impression on me because I've never been to this restaurant or around the area. Not gonna lie but the area looked boring to me and while driving into the restaurant's parking lot, I wasn't really looking forward to eating inside. But boy was I wrong.
The cook at the breakfast station was so patient and kind while trying to manage cooking omelets, waffles, and serving meats for a large amount of people all by himself. I can tell there was a good amount of queue and sometimes it looked to be stressful but he didnt seem stressed at all and handled it like a pro. He even was walking to the table and serving it to the people when he had time when he didnt need to. I really loved that.
There was a woman serving our table who was incredibly nice. She made sure we were taken care of, making little conversations with us, and even made ice cream sundaes for the kids when she didnt need to just because she wanted to make the kids happy.
I really appreciate when staffs like these goes above and beyond just to make sure their customers are happy. And by the looks of the staff's face, it seems like they are more than happy to do these things.
To the owner and the staff... good job and keep doing what you're doing!
I came here for a friend's baby shower and I live very far away from this area (about 45mins) but I definitely wouldnt mind coming here again in the future despite...
