Our friend grew up in the area, a very long time ago (over 20 years ago). And he still to this day will say how the cabin Pizza was one of his favorites. . Now mind you, he hasn’t been there in over 20 years, but to this day, He will always bring them up. So we decided to stop in the one time this weekend that we were close to the area. . This is our first time here, and from the time you pulled up, to the time you walked inside, and sat down it just was such a cool atmosphere. Really felt like you were hanging out in a log cabin. It was neat. . Since they promote having a smokehouse and barbecue meats, we decided to try the burn ends, the girlfriend ordered french onion soup & a cheeseburger plain, my son ordered chicken and waffles And I had to get this pizza that I’ve heard so much about. . We have to say we were extremely disappointed, across-the-board almost everything that we ate. Will start with the French onion soup, the onions were not cooked thoroughly and were actually crunchy, undercooked crunchy onions in a French onion soup. We’ve never experienced that anywhere, we felt as if the broth was lacking and beef flavor, and the soup was just a disappointment. . We were on the menu, we tried. I think two out of the maybe 10 Burns were enjoyable. The rest were extremely dry really hard to chew and swallow. At $14 that was a waste. . The cheeseburger while coming out and being way overcooked when she has to be medium, still had a little bit of juice left, However, she was extremely disappointed. We knew once it came out once you put a burger on a Kaiser bun. It wasn’t going to be that good. There are buns for burgers, such as potato rolls, brioche buns, kaisers to dens of bread to dry a bread to enjoy a burger. . My son really enjoyed his chicken and waffles, thought it was better than what he had recently at the chicken or the egg and Marlton, so we’re glad he was happy. . The pizza came. Super thin, which we kind of enjoy. The only problem was we think it had to have been undercooked. There was no crisp and anybody to the pizza from the tip to the crust, it was a floppy mess. Very cheesy, which I enjoyed, But it was way too floppy to really enjoy it. If we ever come back here, we would ask the pizza to be cooked well done, and hopefully that’ll make it a little bit better. . We called our friend to bust his chops about his favorite restaurant, and now it must’ve fallen off the level of greatness he remembered. Then, on the way home, a friend of ours operates a roadside barbecue Stand, and while we were wishing his wife happy birthday, we told him we just had lunch up at the cabin, and he looked really puzzled and asked why we would go there? We told him we had a buddy of our crew up in the area like 20 something years ago and all he does is rave about the cabin and their pizza. Our friend said they used to be good 20 some years ago, but I’ve since been bought out multiple times and now it’s run by like a restaurant management company and it is not what it used to be. we let them know it was about 20-25 years ago that friend was there so it made sense. . Either way, it wasn’t absolutely horrible, we thought the prices were a little bit on the high end for the quality of what was served, but what can you do. The ambience was nice, and we had a lovely day out in the area.

If i could givr this place 2.5 stars, thatbis what it would have. This place rates from okay to poor. French Onion Soup, it was oily, lacked flavor. They put in a whole piece of bread, crust and all. This has never happened before. Cheeseburger, it was fair, that's why i gave it the other 1/2 star. Fried calamari, so disappointing. More than 1/2 of it was tentacles. SHAME ON THE CHEF ! The place is in desperate need of redecorating. The first place we sat at, I thought the chair was going to collapse 🤯👀. We all moved our seat to a booth, that has to be safe ! 🤔🙄 the seat was ripped ! Come on folks, it is COVID, this was the time to do some basic repairs . You have some great features to this place, stop being penny wise pound foolish, break open the wallet and at least fix the seats. Nobody wants to sit in a wobbly chair or a piece of imitation leather stuck up their bottom. Definitely a hunters place to eat, from heads to full bodies hanging from the wall. They don't have a sugar-free menu or a gluten - free menu. Handicap parking and entrance is available. Place is moderately priced. It will be at least 3 to 5years before I visit again. O would expect that it will take this place that long to fix. Owners, your a popular place, BREAK OPEN THE PIGGY BANK, AND AT LEAST FIX THE SEATS !

We had a fantastic experience on our first visit to The Cabin Restaurant—the food and atmosphere were both excellent. However, our second visit was a letdown. We started with the garlic shrimp, which was delicious, but the garlic steak tips fell short. They lacked garlic flavor and, despite requesting them medium rare, they arrived medium. The brisket mac and cheese was still as good as we remembered from our previous visit, but the BBQ Pit Master 4, which includes ribs, brisket, and pork, was disappointing. The meat was lukewarm and dry, as if it had been sitting out too long. The collard greens were tasty, but the cornbread was stale. In addition there were several flies flying around, landing our food. We had to consistently shoo them away which was very annoying. Seems like their food production is inconsistent. For the prices, our food should not disappoint. Not sure if we will be returning for another dining experience.

Very disappointed. We went to The Cabin for my wifes Mothers Day dinner. My wife asked about 2 menu items, only to be told that they ran out of these items. How do you run out of an item before 3:00 in the afternoon? They weren't busy, so this was a little hard to believe. My family and I had 4 different dishes. The Prime Rib gyro was dry and lacked enough sauce to bring it to a decent taste level. The lettuce was wilted and there was just one onion ring for each of the two gyros. I had the open face Reuben sandwhich. There was a disgusting amount of fat on the meat. The meat was also burnt. There was hardly any sauerkraut. The bread was stale. There was an overload of dressing on it. My son had a Logsplitter sandwich. There was hardly any chicken or bacon on it. The roll was stale. His girlfriend had the mushroom swiss burger. She said that it went far away from being well done. The burger was very, very dry. She also said thag there were hardly any mushrooms on it. The ONLY thing that we enjoyed were the French Fries and our beverages. Our server was nice, but as soon as she gave us our food, she disappeared until bringing us the check. Even then, she said that she gave our check quickly "Just in case it got busy". Of course, she quickly returned to process our payment. Here again, they were not busy. In fact, I looked around and saw that at the very most, 1/3rd of the entire dining area was occupied. We couldn't even order more beverages to help wash down the dry, overcooked food that we were given. Since the new owners took over, the quality of the food and servers has sunk to VERY low levels. I seriously doubt that we will return. Inclusive of today's visit, our last 4 visits have been very disappointing. I hope that the corporate leadership makes the necessary changes to improve on the quality of the food and service. If not, they will eventually lose many, if not ALL of their...

Two months ago, i came in for the prime rib Thursday special, i'm told it was moved to fridays. I go in on a Friday for the prime rib special, I'm told it's over with. This past Wednesday i came in for the cabins catch seafood special, which is still on the sign outside, and the server tells me this is gone now too. I dont know what has happened to the cabin over the past few years, but they have taken some of my favorite dishes off of the menu, and added this barbecue section. Ive tried the bbq and found it ok, but kind of a mess. The ribs are fine, but the chicken i believe may have been a sparrow. The prices have gone up drastically, while the quality is meh, so so. I cant think of one menu item, other than the wings that I love. The wings are pretty tasty, not breaded, and the monday half price wing and pizza special is pretty nice. I personally think the pizza is decent. The servers are hit or miss. This past Wednesday, the waitress was pretty nice. I ordered this ragin cajun special for 24 bucks, and give it a 2 and a half out of 5 rating. It was quite spicy as expected, about 7 or so shrimps and slices of sausage as the protein. The shrimp was tasty, while the sausage wasnt good. I usually never throw away meat, but half the sausage i couldn't and didn't eat. They pack your plate with pasta which tricks minds into thinking you have a decent portion, but this pasta costs about 10 cents or less. I feel like im may give up on the cabin which hurts since its so close to home. After a tip amount that could have bought me a nice home made dinner, im just starting to feel that the dining out experience is less enjoyable than ever, and not worth the value for a blue collared person. It feels as if thet care less about the customer, and more about...
