My wife and I took some friends and met up with some others at this establishment. Upon coming in everything was good great atmosphere we ordered drinks and are entree. As we're sitting there one of the waitresses came over started getting things ready for Bingo. Our food comes out to us and I ordered another beer and started eating the food. I ate my sides and that's I started cutting and pasting my steak I noticed my steak was cold however I was hungry and as long as it took me to get my food I didn't want to wait no more so I went ahead and choked it down. As we're sitting there talking we are getting eyeballed bye the waitress who is calling out the numbers for Bingo. A friend of mine who was sitting across from me and I noticed that she didn't like that we were talking while she was calling off the numbers we were getting dirty looks because we were a little bit loud and she had to raise her voice over the microphone. I did let the waitress know that the stick was cold and her response was I could take it back and heat it up which means throwing it in the microwave but I passed. When you buy a steak that cost that much you expect it to be right the first time. Between my wife and I we ended up spending $120 and that's including tip for mediocre meal. Chances are we will not be back! Hopefully Corrections can be made in the future and your waitresses will be in a lot better mood. If they don't like their job find another one....
Read moreWe’ve been planning for months to come for the all you can eat crab legs We called to inquire about reservations and was told first come first serve, we drove well over an hour & we arrived by 5 and waited approximately 20-30 minutes and attempted to order the crab legs, they informed us that since a truck didn’t come we could only order a 6 cluster of crab. we were so let down and disappointed we asked for a few minutes to decide, we then asked for the small cluster to be told we can’t have those now. We pretty much were stuck eating dinner there because the lack of other options due to the location and it being New Year’s Eve. I ordered the tbone and a shrimp skewer , my wife ordered the half rack of ribs. The tbone was amazing , but the shrimp were way overcooked, small and rubbery. The ribs were good , We tipped a little over 20% because regardless that’s the e right thing to do, overall it was such a disappointing new years trip and dinner They had at least 2 opportunities before we were sitting down to tell us the truck didn’t come. First when I called around 3 pm asking about reservations. Second time was when we arrived and were waiting to be seated and there wa s a wait time. I honestly think they should have offered something off or a discount next time. We did not feel valued as a customer, 2 days prior we bought 200 worth of gift certificates and it just felt wrong and very...
Read moreUPDATE Since my original review we’ve visited Kretzers many more times, even taken other friends with us! However, they are not consistent! Seems like every time we bring new friends/family the crab legs are lacking! The last time we went we brought family! I will have to say the crab legs that day was borderline the worst I’ve ever had! Cold, wouldn’t crack, barely any meat… took at least three rounds before coming out half way decent. My sister-in-law ended up only eating a salad after several attempts of some good crab legs! So disappointing because when they’re good they’re great! But starting to become inconstant enough to not drive that hour to see how it’s going to be. Guess we’ll just do Bonnie’s Cafe that’s literally 5 seconds up the road!
I live about an hour away, but have been here several times now! The crab legs are AMAZING! The best I’ve ever had. Most generally they crack so easily and have a good portion of meat in them. I’ve never experienced anything but wonderful service from any of the servers. Last night Tawni was our server and as usual; amazing! The atmosphere is always fun and clean Even though there’s a bar, It definitely doesn’t feel like a bar atmosphere. I look forward to my next experience and plan on trying something new. Oh, and Thursday night FREE...
