Juniper Farms Ice Cream — Restaurant in Hudson

I am a visiting RN that works in the community helping patients in their homes. I parked on Juniper Road to do some documenting on a patient prior to a visit and the owners of this company pulled up in front of me blocking me in stating it was a private road and asking me what I was doing ( no signs posted saying private road so I was unaware). I explained I was a visiting nurse and was seeing someone in the area and offered to show my badge. The women refused to see it and demanded I give her my patients private information (name and address) I refused to share this info and said I would move to a different street. But the harassment continued and profanities we're used towards me for not giving them the patients protected information. A second car pulled behind me and told me I was unwelcomed on their road. I repeated myself multiple times stating I would move if they would unblock my car. At the end of this I had to involve the police and it left a completely sour tatse in my mouth. I will never give a single scent to a company that the owners would treat...

The amount of positivity with this company is outweighed by the sheer amount of negativity. We rented the ice cream truck for our business’s 1 year anniversary. We agreed on a time and allocated an amount of ice cream to be handed out. The ice cream truck did arrive on time (Hence the one star) however we were under the understanding the truck was still outside our business, yet it left unexpectedly, no warning or notice, just gone. That left many of our customers celebrating our special day upset, this day cannot be replicated, it was a one and done event. We also received several complaints from our customers about how the driver/attendee of the ice cream treated them and our other guests. Each time I observed the driver, he was either listening to music or on his one, not an example of customer service at all. This day was simply turned upside down because of Juniper Farms Ice cream, it is so unfortunate that a "family run" business like Juniper Farms cannot treat their customers like family. Juniper Farms, ice cream truck returned to serve our company for the 10th year again this summer. This year it was significant as we recently underwent a merger that divided our entire team into multiple business units. With that a lot of change, uncertainty and stress. The ice cream truck was an inexpensive, brilliant way to maintain our relationships and our core values around employee satisfaction and engagement. Many of our remote/hybrid workforce scheduled their on-site work in order to take part, and always expressed their gratefulness. Mary, Nicole and Saundra made the booking process simple, and Fernando delivered exceptional customer service. He was super friendly, and his truck was always fully stocked with every option- and there is something for everyone’s taste!
