Mama's Country Cooking — Restaurant in Hueytown

I ate here about a month ago and the food & staff were both outstanding. But today…this is probably the worst food I’ve ever tasted. I got chicken wings, butter beans & greens. The sides weren’t seasoned at all. And I’m not exaggerating. Have you ever tasted unseasoned butter beans? Trust me…you NEVER want to. The chicken was ok. Kinda hard, but seasoned. I plan to drop this entire unfinished plate in the nearest trash can and try to find some tasty food before I become hangry, lol. Ooooh, not to mention, she didn’t even have plastic ware & the spoons she did have were loose in a basket 🙄 The first time there were more ppl. This time it was one lady by herself. I really didn't like the food the macaroni taste like it had been burnt. Throw away hamburger had too much ketchup mustard and mayo on it The meat was tough. I wouldn't advise anyone to go eat there. Unless they want to spend money for bad tasting food. Maybe the other food taste better but the cheeseburger I got the meat was tough as hell really had no taste to it. Went to 3 fast food restaurants this morning before finding this jewel! Don't waste your time standing in line at Waffle or Huddle House when you can walk right in to Mama's and get a delicious breakfast plate for just $4.79.
