Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Hughes Springs

I went to sonic and ordered 3 drinks and a snack chicken sandwich. I waited 30 minutes and not to mention only 1 carhop was working during peak time. While waiting a vehicle pulled up and ordered and received their food within 10 minutes. When I inquired about my order they proceeded to tell me they only had one carhop and there was a lot of people in front of me. I was one of 4 cars there. When i did receive my food it was cold which I refused to accept and then the new excuse was they were out of printer paper. I finally made it off work and in time to try and speak with the store manager days later. When I called about wanting to speak with the Store manager outside about a serious complaint I had she questioned why I wanted to speak with her and she is not allowed to go outside. 2 years ago, I shared a negative review on this place. Recently I heard that a lot of the crew was fired because of poor service, hate to see people without a job, but hey if you don't value it then that's on you, it might just be sonic, but it's a job you should still be professional about. Kudos to the manager for keeping it going and trying to make the best out of it! I came here this morning 3/22/21 for breakfast and the employee Zachary that was brought in from other location was completely on point and gave me the best customer service I've experienced here and like the manager he's here by himself this morning I believe, the food was fast and he was very respectful. That's how any worker should be, too many people take these jobs for granted. 5 stars...

If you don’t have good customer service you shouldn’t be working in a position to work with customers. I showed the app was not working and they wouldn’t honor the 1/2 price drink saying it was my phones service or I needed to restart the phone to get it to work. I tried restarting the phone just to give it a shot but had service so knew that wasn’t a issue. Still didn’t work. Went ahead and paid full price but should have drove off, the only reason I didn’t was cause I already told two kids in the car they could get drinks. I know they can honor the 1/2 price drinks when app is down cause I’ve seen it done before. I don’t know what the reason for being...
