Breakfast...45 minutes wait for pancakes and Western Omelette. The pancakes arrived...they were like rubber and could not be cut with a fork. The omelette...the eggs were burned and tough...the omelette was so greasy I had to use a napkin to soak up the sitting grease on it...when I told my waitress we were not eating "this stuff" and explained why...she just walked off! Went to the cashier to pay for the coffee...and she informed us that even though we didn't eat the food...we still owed them over $20. I know this place has some good reviews...but this is the second or third time this type of thing has happened to me and my wife here.....I just think you are gambling with luck when you go here! Read moreThis is a fantastic little diner! My son and I were in Hugo for the first time ever to visit the Endangered Ark Foundation and decided to eat here afterwards. So glad we did! Our server (sorry I missed her name) was super and friendly and actually made great recommendations rather than pushing a certain dish like in some other places. The food was excellent, I had a patty melt and my son had the sirloin. He said it was the best steak he had ever had! Read moreThis little diner was full of locals. By watching them I could tell that many of them knew each other. It's in a very small town. But it is an awesome place to stop while traveling through. You get a real feel of the local area in the small Diner. The decor is a circus theme and if you're interested at all in circuses or history I suggest you do some research into this.
