Worst hamburger steak dinner I have ever eaten. We called in our order and 10-15 min till ready. I picked it up with some wait. But I can see why 10-15 min that’s what it took to microwave the meat. The order taker ask did I want gravy fries I said yes there was barely enough gravy to even wet the dry tough hamburger steak that they served, let alone any on the terrible over cooked fries. Slaw was good because they buy it made and just spoon it out thank goodness. Worst meal my home town restaurant has ever made it’s a shame. Will never go back. Grew up eating this place. Changed hand several times this is the worst ever. I discourage this place to anyone dont waist your time and money. Such a disappointment to our community. Really miss the Barkers they cared...

Barkers used to be a great place for fresh food. You might have to wait a bit but usually worth it. For the last few years it been hit or miss. Sometimes you get good fresh made food and sometimes it looks throw together missing items. Today I got two baby burgers were they left off the sautéed onions and the patties were over cooked. It was also cold, the cheese wasn’t even melted. This place has gone down hill. Me and my wife want eat there, if we stop it’s usually for my kids. They do have good food like their mashed potato’s, hamburger steaks but everything else needs fixing. Consistency is what this place lack, but luckily this one of the few places to eat up here. OK so in the last week on 2 different days I can't get ANYONE To answer the phone. First day had to call twice and let ring, and ring,and ring to place a to go order. Finally answers on 10th ring 2nd time calling that was Monday and when picked up food only one person was waiting on food. Today on Thursday I call 3 different times let ring, and ring just like before. Drive by n guess what they are not even open. The hours online say open until 8pm. I work in the restaurant business and let me say this is no way to make, or keep business. Won't bother wasting...
