Ray’s is our hidden gem here in Spring Grove. Breakfast available all day. They have traditional American fair, Authentic Mexican or even some pasta meals. Personally their Mexican Breakfast menu is my favorite! You won’t be able to get an authentic Mexican Breakfast anywhere else in the area. Ray’s is also family friendly, everyone is sure to find something on the menu. And their run by a friendly family. I highly recommend you give this place a shot.

The tacos taste authentic. Not sure if it means much, I’m from Houston, Texas. And we know tacos. Ordered the pastor. DELICIOUS. I Really didn’t need the homemade verde salsa but I requested it & it added flavor instead of distracting it. 5star and highly recommend.

Great service. Great food.. was welcomed as I came in. Seated quickly, got drink order promptly, as usual I ordered the surprise me, and got 3 tacos with guacamole, on corn tortillas, asked for the hot sauce, it was delicious, definitely will return.

UPDATE March 2025 I always went here for breakfast however many people said I need to try the mexican fare. I was not impressed. It was not flavored in any way and was completely bland. The one thing I did taste was pickled jalapeno peppers. What self-respecting Mexican restaurant will use pickled jalapenos instead of fresh peppers when they are charging 95 cents extra for them?!?! Simple Mexican joints like Chipotle and Qdoba are better and El Rodeo has the same priced food and blows them out of the water.

Original Review I have been here three times for breakfast and it's a decent breakfast in the area.

The milk prices are a little crazy; $3.50 for ~8oz glass? That translates to $56 for a gallon or roughly an 800% markup on milk. 800%!!! THAT'S INSANE. We are literally surrounded by dairy farms...and all you do is pour it from one container to a smaller one and it takes up 235 cubic inches of cooler space. Even if the price was $1 per glass, you would make a 90% profit on a single gallon if you bought that gallon of milk from Rutter's which is 3.3 miles Southeast.

Anyway, I like their breakfasts including the authentic Mexican fare they also serve. The bathrooms are immaculate and the staff is...

I ordered the Campechanos burrito and it was just scrumptious! The flavors were balanced and each ingredient was portioned properly. The rice was cooked and seasoned Perfectly. Which is one of my pet peeves when out to eat. Rice, whether a side dish or an element in the main dish, is often over looked in quality. Their rice was wonderful. Each of the meats had their own flavors and they were presented nicely. I am not positive what kind of flour tortilla they used but it was lovely. To top it off, they make their own salsa! Fresh and bright! Wouldn't have minded a few tortilla chips to go along with it (although I know it was meant for my burrito 😉). We live in York but this is definitely a place we will be coming back too soon. Looking forward to trying their homemade ice cream amongst many other things 😋. You have made my pallet and my belly...

The restaurant has potential, place looked to be still under renovation. I ordered three tacos, on corn Tortillas w pineapple and no onion. It came to me with onions and guacamole. I never seen guacamole in the menu under the my order. It was sent back and returned to me w flour Tortillas and a little cilantro, no pineapple. I decided I wasn't going to send it back again. I ordered rice which was delicious but came in a small applesauce dish and cost $2.95..pricy for a few grains of rice. Where was the green and red sauce that normally goes w the tacos? I asked for some and got a Chipotle sauce. Not the sauce that goes w tacos. Maybe there still trying to figure things out but for now I'm not returning...
