Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in Huntington

Good food. Good prices. But the owner needs to do something about the older ladies that work there, the ones that have been there for like, FOREVER. And i know this because I've been a VERY long time customer of the westmoreland Giovannis, and the food is always good, most lokely bc all the older ladirs that have been there forwver dont make the food, bc if they did, i probably would no longer eat there. But they also don't need to be answering the phones, working the drive-thru or the dining room register checking out dine-in customers either, bc no matter who you are, make, female, young, old, nice or hateful.....THEY (and there's two of them in particular, and yes i know their names, but I wont stoop to their level and publically call them out on the internet) ARE ALWAYS THE MOST RUDE EMPLOYEES OUT OF ANY RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER HAD THE DISPLEASURE TO DEAL WITH. IT'S ALMOST AS IF THEY EITHER HATE THEIR JOBS, OR THEY HATE YOU OR MAYBE THEY JUST HATE ALL PEOPLE ON GENERAL, EXCEPT FOR ONE ANOTHER. THEY CONSTANTLY SHORT US CUPA OF RED SAUCE, FOR WHICH WE HAVE TO PAY EXTRA FOR TO BEGIN WITH, AS THOSE OF YOU WHO EAT THERE OFTEN AND ALSO ARE IN LOVE WITH THE RED SAUCE PROBABLU ALREADY KNOW. AND IF YOU REMIND THEM THAT THEY SHORTED YOU THE LAST TIME YOU ORDERED, THEY'LL SAY THEY'LL MAKE SURE ITS IN THERE THIS TIME.....WELL MY ADVICE TO YOU IS TO CHECK IT BEFORE YOU PULL OUTTA THE DRIVE-THRU BC I WOULD JUST ABOUT GUARENTEE YOU IT'S ONCE AGAIN NOT IN THERE, AND MOST LIKELY ON PURPOSE BC THEY DON'T LIKE TO BE TOLD THEYRE WRONG OR THEY DID DID SOMETHING WRONG.....AND THAT LAST FACT CAME FROM AN EX EMPLOYEE WHO IS BEYOND EXTREMELY RELIABLE, HONEST, DEOENDABLE AND ALWAYS TRIES TO GIVE EVERYONE THE BEFIT OF THE DOUBT.....SO YEA.....MR. S. WATTS NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE LADIES BEFORE PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO EAT THERE A LOT, AND I DO MEAN AAAAAAAA-LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT, GET AS TIRED OF IT AS I AM AND JUST QUIT EATING THERE ALL TOGETHER. JUS' SAYIN'..... FACTS ARE FACTS!!!!...

I've had nothing but good experience with this place before tonight. I ordered my usual: 19in pepperoni on half the rest with banana peppers green olive onion and ham, and a small cheese stick for delivery. It took the usual hour to get here which is to be expected so that wasn't a big deal even though they surely werent that busy on a thursday evening. The problem was with the pizza toppings they added, they were very light which is not what they normally do and when i say light i mean they were barely visible and when i inspected it further there was barely any toppings added except for the green olives there was a neat pile of them in one spot about the size of an orange. This being unusual for them and me having been a repeat customer for over a year i called in and asked if i could have my pizza remade. In my opinion this was completely reasonable considering i agreed to not eat the pizza and return it to the delivery person once they brought the new one. Now i live 5 minutes away from this pizza place and the new pizza they brought me took ten minutes to get here. I gave the driver who seemed uninterested in the issue the old pizza and he gave me the new one with no apology or explanation. Upon openong the pizza box i see that there are even less toppings on this pizza and there is so little cheese that the sauce and dough are visable. Also, bacause it took so little time to get here i believe it was taken out of the oven early so the dough was still uncooked. I attempted to call back again but was interrupted by the employee i spoke with many times so instead of getting angry and upset with her i hung up. Ill try calling in tomorrow and maybe try speaking with the owner, and hopefully the issue can be resolved. If not this place will lose my business for good. Ill post an update on my experience with the owner or manager tomorrow. Attached are photos of the second pizza. I didnt think of taking pictures...

Don't order delivery. It will take at the very least an hour and a half to get your order. Yes my order was correct and the food was warm, but anything over an hour is absolutely ridiculous for pickup or delivery. I've ordered for pickup several times and 40 minutes later my order still wasn't ready. Management is a huge issue here. They fire the good people for not coming in on a requested and approved day off because someone got sick or they decided to give that day off to another employee last minute. Many also leave this location because of " managers." Apparently this is a huge issue for Westmoreland and Ashland stores.

8-5-24: Once again for second time in row did not get my extra sauces that I paid for! No point in calling again. They just forget again. How hard is it to read a receipt and double check to make sure the order is correct?! They literally owe me so much money from me not calling every time they mess something up or forget something. I've been too forgiving for...
