Fiero Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Huntsville

I want to first state that I love the food at Fiero. I have been coming here faithfully since it opened a few years ago. Due to their location and I guess the agreement they have with the Arsenal they are only open until 3:30. This is no big deal to me since I live on the other side of town and only eat it when I am at work. Now here comes my negative. I eat lunch a little late just so I can avoid crowds during lunch. The first few years eating here I never really had a complaint at all and the workers were great. However, the past year or so they have started to run out of food or stopped making food sometimes near 1:30. I think that is unacceptable. Now, most days they do not have chips after 1:00 and we have complained about this multiple times. You can tell the workers do not care which I think is a shame and sadly it's probably a reflection of management. I think it is ridiculous to not have CHIPS and some meats 2 hours before you close. I cannot imagine walking into Rosie's 2 hours before close and being informed that they had no chips or some food unavailable. The food is really good! However, the customer service could be better. I just ordered a rice bowl with guac and chips. After paying, I noticed there were no chips in my bag. When asked for them, I was charged. I told the girl I asked for chips and guac and she said I told the other girl, not her. Excuse me? It is not my responsibility to communicate what I already ordered! Since she was the one I told, she should've rung me up at the register. Otherwise, she should've communicated to the person at the register what I ordered. I should not have to swipe my card again and pay extra tax. Had a meeting near here so I tried this place for lunch and was very disappointed. Got the Al pastor pork tacos and the meat was filled with gristle. They dont edit the meat at all. When you fix meat for serving you just cannot serve whole bites of gristle. What meat I did get was flavorless. The steak didnt look very good so I ordered the pork. It came with a side of chips and salsa. Some of the chips were very good and some of them were over cooked and powdery. On the good side the salsa was fairly well made and had some spice to it.
