The Village Pizzeria & Ice Cream — Restaurant in Huron Charter Township

To start, this was their first weekend open, so take this review with a grain of salt. We had 2 subs, a pizza roll with meatballs, and a small double pepperoni and extra cheese pizza. The pizza roll was the best 5 out of 5. Good, homemade tasting meatballs, good sauce, and melty cheese. The subs were 4 out 5, good fresh tasting, could be a little bigger. Pizza was ok, great crust with a yeasty flavor, 3 out of 5. Pepperoni was the cup variety. Sauce was a bit light for my taste. Cheese was not double cheese. I had this reheated next day and was impressed with how good this was, 4 out 5. The crust is definitely the star. Never been here before, tried it out. Just asked for a small pepperoni light sauce. 13.xx out the door I believe. Not bad but for a small that seems excessive. I didn't see any deals online or ask, I wasn't in the mood but if there was a better deal with I would have known just unexpected compared to most places even $10/11 for a small one topping is on the high side even for today's prices... That being said, I don't believe it was light sauce but understand that's subjective and can be hard to do with the repetitive motion all day of sauce and forgetting. It was good pizza overall , don't think I could justify it again though. It was a bit overly soft/chewy/greasy but that's probably also personal too, a little more crisp to it would be nice. My family and I had such a great experience at Village Pizzeria and Ice Cream! The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and made just right. The ice cream was the perfect finishing touch, creamy and full of flavor with so many great options to choose from.

The employees were truly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It’s not often you find a place that combines amazing food, tasty treats, and such genuine customer service all in one spot.

We will definitely be returning — highly recommend this place for families or anyone looking for a great meal...
