Lewisville Smoke Food & Spirits — Restaurant in Huron Township

My wife and I had an excellent dinner for our date night. We arrived around 5 pm and were offered numerous seating options, except for the back room which was to be hosting an event. We were quickly greeted by our server, who took drink orders. When she returned with the beverages, we placed our appetizer and entree orders. The apps we chose were the Korean meatballs and the bacon wrapped jalapenos. The meatballs came with a small pancake that was torn apart and used to navigate the meatballs to our salivating mouths. The smell was amazing. The sauce had a little burn to it and the texture and flavor of the meatballs was delightful. The bacon wrapped jalapenos became "my" appetizer after my wife tried a bite of one. She thought they were very hot and her face and ears turned red. I got to finish them off. The heat was a little more than I expected, but not uncomfortable and still allowed me to enjoy the flavors of the bacon, pepper, and cheese. For the entree, we decided to share the sampler platter, which we decided was the best possible idea. Everything on the platter was amazing. The brisket was so smoky and tender. The pulled pork was combined with the toast and made into a sandwich. I wished the slab of ribs had been a little bigger, as they were very tender and flavorful. The chicken quarter was melt in your mouth delicious and VERY tender. The accompaniments added some lighter flavors that mixed nicely with the meat fiesta we were experiencing . My wife ordered the flan for dessert, and was nice enough to share with me. It was delicious and offered a nice cleansing for our pallets after the meat extravaganza. We look forward...

Drove from Port Huron to Lewisville for this New Years Eve weekend dinner special! All I can say is the drive was very well worth it. Luke was our Bartender/Server! Top notch service! Wheelchair accessible for the restaurant but not the bar and restroom facility. Stairs involved A new restroom facility is in the planning within the year, with no stairs involved. So please keep this sleepy little communities wonderful Tavern/Restaurant in mind when looking for a delicious smoked Soul food dinner special, when offered, or select from any of the other dinner menu options. Homemade Cannoli, not shown, was simply Devine. Pool table, darts! Kudos to the Owner/Cook for the wonderful 👏 service and food in your quaint...

This place is in the middle of farm country, just minutes away from Lake Huron. After a day at Harbor Beach, we were looking for a great smokehouse restaurant, and this was it. We ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeños (very spicy with seeds still inside). They were excellent. We then shared a platter, which also didn't disappoint. The pulled pork was extremely tender, the pit beans were awesome (not sweet like baked beans), and the green beans were sauted with grilled onions. We finished with a cannoli, which had extra cinnamon in it, giving it a taste between an Italian cannoli and a Mexican churro. So good!
