Lake Street Inn — Restaurant in Hustisford

Either understaffed or just poorly staffed, when we got a table we were told we had to go to the bar to get drinks if we wanted any for dinner.... then the bartender acted like she was doing me some kind of favor when I asked to have my drinks put on our food bill.

Ordered a $34 steak but still required us to buy extra $9 salad bar for my wife just because she wanted to substitute a side salad for the chips and bun from her sandwich order.

Felt like royalty when we actually had our second drinks ordered from and delivered to us at our table!

Happened upon this on accident. We were driving by and decided to stop to see if they had food, which they did. The food is excellent, one the the best chicken sandwiches that I have ever had. The prime rib they were serving looked excellent also (which I will try next time I am back). Savannah, was one of the best bartenders I have ever experienced, she was quick with drinks and a smile and extremely nice. Even though it is quite out of my way to go there, I will be back for the food and to visit with Savannah....

Been awhile since we have been here. Portions are smaller than when we went before. I'd rather pay a couple dollars more for what was offered before. Waitress was subpar. Asked for refills on soda and got our bill amd no refills but she had no problem going to the bar to drink liquor from a bottle. It was the end of the bottle but let's get our customers taken care of 1st before we start the partying. Also why only 1 soup offered? Some of us are allergic to shellfish and only calm...
